KEEP LOVE AT THE TOP

APRIL 15

Thank You Father for keeping love at the top.

The greeting from one brother In Christ to another in 3 John glorifies God.
He speaks of the love that he has for this brother In Christ.

3John 2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.

His desire was for his brother to:
1. prosper in general (natural)
2. be in good health (physical)
3. that he have peace/ Shalom of mind, the fruit of the spirit be at full blast in his life, and his will be mature in God. (spiritual)

Because we can have one of these operating in our life without the others.
We can have a few of them and be missing peace of mind.
We can have everything except healing or we can have all of these operating in our lives at full capacity.

That is a fervent love.
That's a stretched out love that lives in the heart of someone who their desire is to see someone else be complete.

That's a love that serves it's brothers and sisters.
That's a love that prays for it's brothers and sisters In Christ.

Acts 12:5
...Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

Peter was being persecuted at this time and the one behind the persecution of those in Christ is always the enemy.
The devil always has to have a willing person to work through but he is behind it.

Folks are in all types of prisons in their soul and in their body and in the natural.
What brings them forth, what takes the chains off, what opens the gate for them and frees them of whatever they may be going through, is someone who decided to keep love at the top.

Someone who says, I will not stop walking in love and prayer because love covers a multitude of sins.
Someone who decides to stretch out in prayer and service for others because their desire is to see the brethren blessed.

Love is a bond that you put on like glue and that bond seals and it protects and it holds tight.
Matthew 24:12 teaches us that the reason love waxes cold is because sin increases.
Because someone let the (bond/love) crack and the enemy gets a foothold and can slide in.

1Peter 4:8
Above all things have fervent charity (love) among yourselves: for charity (love) shall cover the multitude of sins.

We know this to be true because God who is love did not give up on us while we were in sin.
He sent Jesus to fix the crack, to heal the broken hearted.

Whenever we put love on the bottom it doesn't matter if we preach world wide, it doesn't matter if we are at the church at 4:00 am Monday through Friday, it doesn't matter if we have authored 40 books over the past 50 years, when we put love on the bottom sin comes in.

GIVE IT AN INCH AND IT WILL TAKE A MILE.
