HALLELUJAH!
This is just something the Lord put on my heart this morning to share.
I believe that Holy Spirit is speaking to someone, I don't know who, it may be me.
I pray that ears hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying today.
Amen
Who we spend our time with day in and day out is very important.
The people who we spend the majority of our time with will be the ones who will have the greatest influence on our thinking.
It is apparent most times to see who actually spends time with God by their attitude and responses.
There is no way that you can be in the presence of God and hold grudges and be devious and be sucked in by wicked.
There is no way that you can have a real relationship with God and not examine your self daily.
Critical, complaining, cryers, cursing instead of blessing, using trickery, unable to be corrected, doubters, liars, gossips, and selfish arrogant folks usually have a certain response that identifies their mindset.
Usually judgmental but would never consider them selves to be.
Deceived.
In Christ our response and reactions reflect and reveal where our time is spent.
I am not talking only about church.
I'm talking about with God in prayer and study of His Word.
Not study to impress others but to take what He gives us and apply it to our self
We are to have the mind of Christ.
We have a charge to reflect God's Glory.
But if we don't spend time with the Father on a regular basis we can't reflect it.
Proverbs 6:16-19
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.
18 A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
You can break this down any way you would like to study it.
The bible teaches us to scrutinize and examine and test our own conduct and work so that we can have the personal satisfaction of doing something that pleases God without resorting to boastful comparison with our neighbors.
It is very important who you allow in your ear, it's very important whose opinions you take on.
Who and what you allow to influence you.
Your influence may be drawing you nearer to God or further away from Him.
Think about who you allow to influence you.
It's not worth fitting in to me to be nasty to people.
There is a far greater reward for me to be influenced by love than cynicism.
Love
