God is so extra good.
It's so funny how God can take what was meant for evil and turn it around for good.
I used to send out emails kind of like my blog posts and I know that they were shared with doctors and nurses of various religious back rounds on my job.
They were not sent from me to the medical staff but by others to insight a problem.

The people that I knew who claimed to be Christian were convicted in their hearts by the Word of God, so they sent my emails to folks who they believed would have a different view about God than me.
If you follow the Word of God, you follow the Word Of God.

I guess this was supposed to help folks feel like it doesn't take all of what Lolita is saying because God knows your heart... He sure does.

These words are never typed with the goal to condemn folks but to give them information that will take them out of the way of condemnation.
Well folks got to looking at the Word and some of them got mad and stopped talking to me, avoided me and turned their noses up, some of them still smile cordially, and some of them are the same and some of them have changed for God's glory.

So I have been called a hypocrite and fake and all types of stuff.
Accused of trying to gather people to go to my church, like I'm supposed to be ashamed of that or something.
It ain't about my church, it's about getting as many as possible into the kingdom of God, period.
So I am thought to be a minority:)

And through it all the Word is still the truth and I'm still doing what God told me to do.
And those who disagree have even been engaged as an assistant to furthering the gospel and opening up discussion.

Help me do my work!

I had the most wonderful conversation with a Pakistani doctor yesterday.
She is a Muslim woman and we had the best conversation about God before she had to go back to seeing her patients.
It was a short but it was so good.

I have been blessed to know some of the most loving and genuine Muslim women. Women who understand that modesty is not in a long skirt or a covering but it is an attitude of the heart. We call it fruit of the spirit.
Muslim women who don't hold resentment in their hearts.
This particular physician has always been consistently loving as long as I have known her and I so respect her for that.

At times more consistent than my self and some of my own sisters In Christ and other Muslim women that I have come across.

She sparked something in me yesterday, so just in case there are Muslim women who run across this blog, I want to share some truth and love with you.
I want to talk about religion vs our own personal relationship with God.
Living a life that honors God.
Not tradition because I didn't grow up honoring God with my life as a routine just as many women and men of many other religion did not.

This was my choice and not something that I said, OK God I'm gonna put you on the back shelf do what I want to do and when I accomplish what I want, I'll come back to you and we can hook back up again.

I'm ready for you now!
The doctor and I talked about spiritual growth and she stated how we are all developing at a pace and no one has arrived at that place of complete maturity.
But everyone is not growing spiritually, because just like your natural body needs to be nourished on a regular basis to grow so does your spirit.

A lot of people are stagnant in their own personal behavior and growth, extremely immature.
My work place for example is filled with people whose ages range from early twenties to retirement years, yet the mindset and atmosphere is like a high school, not even a high school more like an elementary school.

With pouting and lips poked out in denial, you might expect to see a note that says, If you play with her you can't be my friend any more.

Spiritual growth doesn't just happen.
People have to make a conscious decision to grow up, but without knowledge we can't.

If people don't know that they are behaving like a Jackass because the knowledge has not come to them, how can they stop the Jackass behavior?

Before I had any true knowledge of God I couldn't have a relationship with God.
I could go to church every now and then at my grandmothers request and sing songs and toss a couple bills in a collection plate but then when that routine was over, go straight back to ignoring God and dishonoring Him with my life for the rest of the week.

Even as an adult you can go to Church and Mosque or Synagogue only because it's what your culture or community does and you just do it because it's what our family does.

It's not just the right thing to do because you grew up doing it and it will provide a foundation for your family.
It's so much more than an obligation to family.

See this is not about whose religion is the most popular or which one will come out on top.
Religion will be put under foot period.
God will receive from every kindred, tongue, people and nation with Christ at the head.
Not one religion.
I know folks don't understand that now but God's truth outweighs mans tradition.

I am not religious and I say this often and folks don't understand what that means.
This lovely young Muslim woman mentioned in our conversation that God is not a respecter of ethnicity.
This is so true.
Therefore he will not be a respecter of religion.

God the Father instructed His first sons and daughter to share His truth with the world.
The twelve did what they were supposed to do and then it slowed up.

The bible teaches us in Mark 16:15 to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus said: All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you...

Maintaining that relationship of honoring God with our lives means observing in our lives what God has commanded and established as truth.

Ephesians 2:8,9 We are saved by grace not of works lest any man should boast...

God's grace in sending Christ to suffer death on the cross is what places us in right standing with Him.
Any goodness that you project to the world after receiving that is an outward manifestation of God's spirit living in you.

You couldn't do enough deeds to be redeemed from sin because we have already established that God has no favorites.
He so loved the world that He sent his Son...
We all want to dwell with God and we all want God to be with us.

His Word says this in Psalm 101:7
He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

Sometimes we want to say that it doesn't take all of that because we don't want to be all of that, but God is not a man that He would lie.
If God was a liar every hope of any man obtaining an inheritance or life with Him would be in doubt.
But there is no shadow of doubt in God.

The bible teaches in Revelation 5:9; 14:6
Every kindred and tongue, and people and nation.
This Word is for every man and for every professed religion.

In Acts chapter 10 there is a story about a certain man named Cornelius and Cornelius was not a Jew but an Italian, who loved God as much as any who called them selves lovers and children of God.

So this man worshipped God with his living, with the words that came out of his mouth, and with his substance, he looked to God for guidance and then obeyed God's instruction.
But that was not enough to save him from sin and it's wage, a wage that every man and woman after Adam were born into.

A wage that every nation will be expected to pay outside of receiving a pardon.

Cornelius hadn't been pardoned yet.
He was devout, charitable, and spiritually mature and all of that, but he was not yet made a son of God.

He had not yet heard the gospel, but his life attitude of diligently(Hebrews 11:6) seeking God prepared the way for Cornelius and his whole household to be saved and welcomed into the family of God.

Go to Acts chapter 10 and see how the Father spoke to Peter at the same time that He spoke to Cornelius.
Study the whole chapter.
Peter was sent by God to minister salvation to this Italian man and his family.
Peter went and said this:
Acts 10:34,35
34...Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS THAT GOD HAS RESPECT FOR?
(Because remember it's not God who rejects men, it is men who reject God and His way.)
35 But in every nation(nationality) he that feareth Him (to fear God doesn't mean to cower and be afraid it is to revere, honor, respect God with their everyday life), and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Him.

Honor God in your body, and your mouth not for His sake for your own.
If we learn how dishonoring God leads to depression and sickness and all types of wrong choices this helps spiritual growth.

Knowing the reason behind why you do a thing.

Righteousness is grace and truth.
Unrighteousness is deceit and lies.

Proverbs chapter 6 teaches how men and women are snared/trapped with the words of their mouth.
How the liars heart is filled with wickedness.
God teaches that out of the abundance of a mans heart the mouth speaks.
Take inventory of the converssations that you have been having and you can know your own heart, before you broadcast that God knows it.

If the heart of a man be righteous that is what their conversation will be.
It won't be twisted, slick and filled with confusion.

Proverbs 6:14-19 (Paraphrased)
14 Unrighteousness plots evil with deceit in its heart continually, they sow the seed of discord.

15 Because of the practices of their heart disaster runs them over suddenly, in an instant they are afflicted with no remedy or cure.

16 There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to Him:
Blatant pride, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,

18 A heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to run to evil,

19 A false witness that speaketh lies,(He says this twice), and he that stirs up dissension among brothers and sisters.

Don't simply take my word for it or take it as my philosophy for life, look it up for your self, it's true.

This is for every nation, every kindred, every tongue(language) and nation.

Spiritual growth it is not automatic.

Take some time and think on these things.
Print this out and study it next to the written Word of God.
You can't just read this in the morning before you start work.
Take it and use the time that you would normally be wasting in a conversation that will destroy your character and soul (mind, will and emotions) and minister to your soul with this.
