SALVATION NOT RELIGION

WHY WE DON'T NEED RELIGION BUT WE MUST BE SAVED.

Why do I have to be saved?
Who am I being saved from?
What must a man do to be saved?

All very good questions that will be addressed in due time.

REMEMBER, I AM NOT RELIGIOUS.

What has happened is this:
God established in the beginning how life for all men (every nation) was to proceed and none of His plan for man included sin, because life is Gods plan, this is why God gave us life.

Not just any old kind of life but a life that is filled with blessing and love.

If The Father wanted us all dead we would be.
BUT John 3:16; John 10:10

The wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23
First spiritual, moral, then emotional, material and physical.

God set things in order so that we would have a righteous relationship with Him.
Where He is Father and we are child.
Where He is creator and we are creation.

Then another opinion entered into the earth and introduced itself to man.
Lucifer came in an introduced his ideals to man, the very same ideals that got him kicked out of heaven.
"I know what God said, but..." was introduced.

Anyone who says this to you has just shown you their heart.
That means "I don't follow what God said."
So what happend is God established the way for man to have an unhindered relationship with Him.
But men who didn't want to follow Gods way created a way that they were comfortable with and called it RELIGION.

For example God established that men are not to commit adultery.
Well it's obvious why God would establish that as a command.
Because of the heartbreak, jealousy, envy, strife and all of the other hurts and confusion that it creates.
Romans 6:23
Look in our news lately and see what comes about as a result of it.
Brokeness all around.
John 10:10

What kind of God would deny us the pleasure of having as many women as we desire?
The kind of God who longs to see you live and see your children grow up.

Instead of following God men would rather make the moon and a cat their God because a cat wouldn't frown on us having multiple partners and the moon will shine it's approval right down on us.

The Father had to deal with His children wanting a king to rule over them.
They wanted a king so that they could introduce a different way of living to the king, because they knew that God wouldn't ok it.
Get us a king and we can convince him that killing the innocent is our right because we created life, not God.

Sounds like what homeboy was preaching before Jesus saw him fall from heaven like lightening.
OK

So put a man in a position of power where His power depends on making the people happy above pleasing God.
If the sinners are not happy the king will work to appease them, and then guess what happens to the king?
He gets dethroned.

Moses had to deal with folks who had witnessed the power and delivering hand of God and then they decided to build a God rather than follow the very same God who brought them out of slavery.
RELIGION

GOD IS NOT LIKE BUILD A BEAR WORKSHOP.
WE CAN'T PICK A GOD OUT OF A BAG JUST BECAUSE WE WANT ONE WHO WILL ACCEPT OUR SIN AGAINST HIM.

PUT ARMS ON HIM THAT EMBRACE SIN AND EARS ON HIM THAT LISTEN TO LIES AND EYES ON HIM THAT LOOK HAPPILY UPON THINGS THAT HE DEEMS DETESTABLE.

WE CAN'T PICK A GOD THAT COMES FROM OUR NECK OF THE WOODS.
WE ARE NOT CHOOSING THE GOD THAT LOOKS MOST LIKE US.

THERE IS ONLY ONE LIVING GOD.
AND WE WERE ALL MADE IN HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS.
THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY AND ITS GODS WAY, IT'S NOT WHAT OUR COLLEGE PROFESSOR DEEMED AS THE WAY.

Narrow is the path to God and few that be who find it.
Religion took Gods Word and twisted it to keep black men and women in positions of slavery.
RELIGION fabricates, abuses and twists Gods plan and purpose to increase it's own wealth while robbing others.

EVERY RELIGION CHRISTIANITY INCLUDED

This very country broke away from England who abused it's rights in the name of RELIGION.

RELIGION has been used as an excuse to abuse, torture and kill men, women, children, Jews and Gentiles alike.

RELIGION crucifies.
What we fail to see is that we are exalting these religions above God.

In order to be in right standing with God, the first thing to do is decide to choose salvation above RELIGION.


This is spiritual growth.
