THE WORD ENDURES FOREVER

Psalm 68:11
The Lord gave the Word: great was the company of those that published it.

Everywhere that Jesus went He had a Word.
Even if all He said was "Go in peace, it is your faith that has healed you."

THE WORD ENDURES FOREVER.
NOT EVERY BODIES WORD.
SOME WORDS ARE LONG FORGOTTEN AS SOON AS THEY ARE SPOKEN AND WRITTEN.
All other words will pass away but the Word of God will stand forever.
Jesus said, those that are of God hear these words and are not offended by them.

BECAUSE THERE IS A WORD THAT IS QUICK AND POWERFUL, AND SHARPER THAN ANY TWOEDGED SWORD, PIERCING EVEN TO THE DIVIDING ASUNDER OF SOUL AND SPIRIT, AND OF THE JOINTS AND MARROW, AND IS A DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART.

WHAT WORD?
Is it my own personal opinion that carries that power?
NO

It's the Word of the Lord.
This is the Word by which the gospel is preached to men.

You know what I like about the apostle Paul?
I like how Paul breaks down everything.
Paul just breaks it on down.

Paul didn't care if you didn't like how he did it, he said if I please men how can I please the Father?
Paul breaks down who Christ is and what you have In Christ when you place your trust in Him.
Then Paul explains how you have been sealed with the Holy Spirit.
How you are no longer under religion and he keeps you focused on what the scripture says.

Paul is like, "I know how you feel but what sayeth the scripture?"
You might not like someone who has a Word, but "what do the Word say?"
I know what you have tried and I know your tradition, but "what does the Word say?"

I'm sure you think that you have coined the revolutionary way to save folks, but it was by the preaching of the gospel that you were saved.

And what I loved the absolute most about Paul is how after he had taught God's will and confirmed through teaching the Word that the folks who through faith had stepped out of darkness into God's light were free...
(Because God's Word confirms itself.)
Paul would go on to say, don't mess it up.

Don't go back to your former way of thinking and behaving.
Don't mess up by getting all tangled up in following something that God has not promised or proclaimed in His word.
Don't open the door to the enemy in your life.
Don't go back to listening to something that the Father did not say.
Don't go back to walking by the flesh and all of it's conceits, lusts and hangups.

Galatians 5:7 Paul says to the Galatian church:
You did run well; who did hinder you that you should not obey the truth?
What ego did you let come between you and what God has already established as truth?

Did you allow envy and strife to set up their tent of confusion and evil works?
Are you allowing distractions to come in and take up the space where the Word of God belongs?

LISTEN

This is what Eve let happen, the lust of other things entering in will choke the Word and make it unfruitful in your life.

I only have room for the Word of God.
It is the sword that the Spirit wields.

It is instruction, reproof, correction, admonition, and encouragement.
Without it no man will have a relationship or come to know the Father or the Son.
The world will recognize you by your love and acts of kindness.

Jesus will know you by your faith.
Faith works by love and love is not love without faith.
You don't fall in love, love is a choice and it is a faith choice.
Faith is developed by hearing the Word of God.

You haven't made the real choice to love somebody without first hearing the Word of God.
Atheist's do kind things but love stems from the heart of God.
God is love and if folks don't hear that, how can they come to HIM?

I don't do this just to feel good about myself or to brag about what I do, because all I do is what God told me to do.
It would be a benefit to every man if we could all just do what God told us to do.

I want folks to hear the Word of God so that they have the very same opportunity that I had to develop faith.
When they do grow to the place where they can help another human being it won't be from a heart of bribes, competition or ambition it will be from a heart of faith and real love.

Don't get tangled up again with the former way of thinking and depart from faith listening to opinion.
