BEAR WITNESS

BLESSED BE HIS GLORIOUS NAME!
JESUS!

You know I was taught about righteousness through my pastor.
I remember with the little understanding that I had about salvation, there was always someone else preaching that my righteousness was in question.

But when I began to seek for my self and study behind what Bishop had taught, no man anywhere could tell me that I was not saved.
That Jesus had not made me righteous, placing me back in the grace of God.

All who have been made righteous are now called to live righteously.
If you have little knowledge of God's Will you will believe whatever someone says even if it doesn't line up with what God says.

That's why going to church is fine but you have to open up the Word for your self after church has let out.

When you are saved and you begin to seek God through His Word, (because this is what you are supposed to do) He starts to open up things to you. Matthew 6:33

Your spirit has been washed and through time spent with God in study of His character and Will, your spirit starts to bear witness with the Spirit of God.

Before a man is born again his spirit is dark and full of sin, not able to hear from God, the connection is lost.
1Corinthians 4:4
Sin breaks up our ability but it is not powerful enough to stop God's ability.

The gospel is still being preached.
Jesus can clear all of that up for you when you repent and come to Him.
Repent means turn from it completely not rationalize why this sin is different from all other sins.

Sin is Sin.

So gospel preached still has to be gospel received as truth to you, you may go to church and that is good and you should, but it's not a social hangout.

The Holy Spirit is still filling the places where the truth is preached.
Cleansing and creating in men new hearts.
You shouldn't walk in one way and come out the same way.

If I ride through a car wash dirty and came out on the other side dirty, that car wash doesn't have the glory working in there.

The reason that our spirit has to be created a new is because God is only going to receive a glorious church, a church without spot our wrinkle.
And He is the only One who can cleanse us because He created us, we didn't make ourselves so we can't fix our selves.

We have to come to God.

You wouldn't eat off of dishes that had ketchup and steak sauce encrusted on them, or sleep on sheets that had mud dried on them, you wouldn't drink out of glasses that had old milk or gnats in them, so what you do is you wash them or throw them away and get brand new ones.

When we come to God He creates a new heart in us transforming our spirit man, giving us an increased desire to seek Him and His way of being and doing.

We don't get right when we run from Him looking for an opinion to match ours.
But when we look to the LORD for direction, He is the Light that makes us Right.
Amen.

You want your spirit to line up and bear witness with the Spirit of God.

You are tired and running against the grain, your family is suffering, and you are watching folks fall by the wayside, yet you keep listening to everything and everybody but God.
When all you have to do is come to the LORD and line your spirit up with His.

The glory of God is a defence and a miracle worker.

These are the days that the Word talks about God pouring His spirit out upon His children.
It is glorious.
You have to be under that spout where His glory is coming out.
It will wash you and make you able to hear the Father when He speaks.

The Lord's return will be like a thief in the night, we don't know when He's coming, but trust, you want to be ready.

You don't want to be in any situation or any conversation that will have you left behind to tribulate while folks are caught up in the clouds with the LORD.

His kingdom which is His way is the power and the glory.
God is greater than man.
His Word is greater than any mans opinion.

Glorify God by having a spirit that bears witness to His glory.
Declare the glory of God with your life.

Go to church Sunday with a totally different perspective.
It's not about how you dress, it's not about who sits next to you.

It's about you coming with an expectation and seeking the glory of God that will change you in your spirit man cleansing you from all unrighteousness preparing you to receive the glory of God before you walk out of those doors.
Colossians chapter 1:9-29 and chapter 2
