I have been going over the book of Joshua chapters 3 and 4, the word (And) is throughout these chapters because the promises and miracles of God just kept on going.

And they will keep on going for the believer.

God has delivered you before and He will do it again.
The father has caused you to walk on dry land while everyone around you had to stand back at the shore.

What was done so that dry land was provided for the children of God to pass over the Jordan on dry land?

The ark of the covenant the priests carrying the ark of the covenant went down into the water before the people and stayed there until they all passed over.
God and His spirit was in that ark.
The power and spirit of God caused the water to part for His children.


So I have a question for the believer.

Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, the temple of the living God.

God said, I will dwell in them and walk in them; and I will be their God and they shall be my people.
2 Corinthians 6:16

So
When you come to the place where it looks like you can't get over it...
When you get to the edge and there is nowhere else to go and the water looks too high...
When God has told you that it belongs to you and all you have to do is go and get it...

Set your self apart AND take up your armour AND magnify the Lord AND walk on through.
Psalm 23:4

It's a spiritual thang!
Natural resources don't win spiritual battles.

This is a song that the Lord gave me to sing to my self.

The point is that God lives in you and the same miracles, signs and wonders that went before the ark of the covenant in the days of Moses and Joshua are available to the born again believer today.

The Holy Spirit dwelling in you is that present source of power.

God has given us everything that pertains to life AND godliness.
