WHEN YOU GIVE THANKS

John 6:10-13 (Paraphrased)

10 Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down, about five thousand of them. 11 Jesus then took the loaves and fish, gave thanks, and had His disciples distribute them to all who were seated as much as they needed.
12 When they had all had enough to eat, Jesus said to His disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted." 13 So they gathered and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of five barley loaves and two fishes even after five thousand plus had eaten.

The Lord was teaching and because the people committed to staying and hearing what He had to say, He had compassion on them and would not send them away hungry.

What good God would send a man away hungry?

I'm looking at the example that Jesus set for all men and that example was to give thanks to God.

The little that they started with was multiplied, a multitude was fed to satisfaction, nothing was wasted and overflow was gathered at the end of the meal.

This is what giving thanks to God produces.

When you lift up anything to God thanking Him for His supply, He will bless it and cause it to expand, multiply, overflow and supply for you and for others.

Lift up your day, your thoughts, your money, your time, your heart, your family, whatever you have and watch Him rock your world.
When You Give Thanks.

Have a Blessed and safe Thanksgiving.
Thank You Father!
