KEEPING OUR HEADS UP

DON'T BACK DOWN OFF OF WHAT GOD SAID!
In order to do this we have to know what He said.

The news reports that 50% of Detroit is out of work.
I say that 50% of Detroit is working.
I pray that 50% of Detroit is trusting God and digging their heels in and not giving up.

So the enemy races to place fear in the hearts of men who live in Detroit and the surrounding areas.

I remember earlier this year getting the revelation that the devil's job and goal is not to encourage us.
The goal of the enemy is to stress our lives out.
Hell runs the inconvenience store.

I laughed because the devil is not going to call and ask. "Is this a good time to bring drama to your life?"
No, the enemy doesn't care what you are trying to do, any time is a good time for an attack.
This is why we have to keep our focus continually on what God has said so that we are armed ready and dangerous when trials come.

I almost let my white robe get dirty.
You know my white robe is my dominion and authority through Christ Jesus.
That's what I call it.

My song is ( I'm gonna pick up my sword ( wisdom/word of God and shield/ faith, put on my white (dominion and authority through salvation) robe and live an abundant life) That's the song the Holy Ghost gave me and I hold on to it with all that I have.

You know how when you walk in a long dress or a robe you have to lift it up to walk up stairs?
I had to pick up my robe, because I'm going up and I am not gonna let anything drag my robe on the ground.
What about you?
Yes you can pick up that robe but you have to put it on first.

You have to let this mind be in you, it was in Christ.
He was not about to let anything that was not supposed to go down in His life go down.
They couldn't take His life before He was ready to give it up.

Can you hear what I'm saying?
This is the attitude that we have to have.

I know it looks like evil and wicked may prevail but look at what God said.
Reprobate will never come out above righteousness.

I'm in physical therapy right now and my therapist tells me to keep my head up so that I don't strain my neck.
My mind goes directly to keeping my head up so that I can focus on where my real help comes from.
If we keep our head up we won't strain or sweat or stress anything out.

My mind is stable, my heart is fixed and focused of what Jesus already did for me.

Listen to me Y'all.
Your car might not be running right,
your roof may need fixing,
you may need food,
your back might hurt,
your tuition may be due,
your sink may need new pipes,
your dog might need veterinary care,
your momma may be in the hospital,
your friend may be going through a divorce,
your daughter might need to get out of that relationship,
your grand children may need shoes,
you might need a job because of lay offs,
your rent may be due,
you might not have a Christmas tree,
but regardless of what it is or how dark it looks right now...

Keep your head up and focused on how God has done mightily for you in the past and He will continue to do mighty things when you look to Him.

Psalm 121:1,2
LOOK UP!

LOVE
