HAVING OUR PART IN HIM

Thank You Father for a sound mind.

The prophet Isaiah asked,

"Lord , who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"

In John chapter 12 this is referenced because even after Jesus had done many mighty works instantly among the people, they continued in their unbelief.

John 12:39,40 says:
For this reason they could not believe, because as Isaiah says elsewhere:

"He has blinded their eyes
and deadened their hearts,
so they can neither see with their eyes,
nor understand with their hearts,
nor turn- and I would heal them."

Have you ever been witness to a part of a two sided dispute or disagreement?
I have been asked to be the judge before of who was right.
Impartial is what God is.

People don't usually want to take their dispute to an impartial judge, they would much rather lay their complaints at the feet of their supporters.
Why do people chose partiality?
Because it won't usually require that they look at them selves.

If we don't look at our self first, nothing is solved.

Thank God for the Word.

So I had these two people I'll call them Mr. Brown and Mrs. Blue who I personally witnessed most of their dispute live and in color. After it was over Mr. Brown decided to come and talk to me about it.

People usually come because they want to gather support for their view and have a witness in case this goes any further.
Mr. Brown explained to me how Mrs. Blue was just not right in her actions and he was justified in being rude basically based on what she did.

I know Mrs. Blue has issues and so does Mr. Brown.
The thing is that neither of them know it.

I suggested that the one bringing the charge could yield to the other person when they react in the manner that they do.

It was like I was speaking ancient Mandarin or something.

Neither of them would admit to any wrong.

Let me share something with you about pride and how it creates strongholds in lives.
The door is shut to satan until we give him a foothold.

Think about footholds today, areas where the enemy slipped in because we opened it up for him.

The Lord God gave us His law simply to show us what sin is and to show us where we are wrong.
Do you mean that we could be wrong after doing it this way for umpteen years?
Before Jesus came everybody thought they had it right.

God sent the Word.
The law can't save us but it can direct us in the path of salvation.
But if we never admit to being guilty of anything then we won't require forgiveness or a pardon.

I don't know who you are that you believe that you don't need forgiveness on this planet, but prayers are going up for you.

We all need Jesus.

Whenever I see anyone who can't see where they are wrong, I feel sympathetic towards them because I know that they will never if ever, yield to God showing them what sin is.
If we can't recognize it in our own life, we will not take measures to get it out of our life.

It doesn't matter who shouts it at us.

Those nasty and snide remarks that are hardening your heart and creating sickness in your soul, are the very things that Jesus desires to wash away.
People think they struggle because they don't pray enough or go to church enough, the struggle is in understanding this.
We were all guilty.

Think about that, nobody was right.
If it wasn't for Jesus nobody would have the chance to be either.

There are many things in the Bible that God has clearly made known to us that are harmful for us and against His very existence, yet even professing Christians lay them aside.

You may not be homosexual but you are arrogant and unforgiving.
You may not be a murderer but you may be a liar.
You may not be a thief but you may be covetous and built an idol out of material possession's.

And you can be claiming Christ and be all of this.

We do this every day in the church and outside of it.

There is an actress who has refused to forgive her father who died years ago.
She still holds on to how he treated her mother.
I pray for her, because she is now a mother who will before she leaves this earth require forgiveness, and I pray that her child doesn't have the same heart towards her that she had towards her father.

She doesn't know that she needs to be forgiven by God for her attitude towards her father regardless of what he did.

Sin blinds and hardens the heart towards God, period.

It's very dangerous water to tread to not be able to see our own part in anything.

When Jesus washed the feet of His disciples they didn't understand what He was doing.

Peter got all religious and pious on Jesus saying " You Lord will never wash my feet!"

But the Lord was not just giving an example or servant hood as He did this.

Jesus told them, "Unless I wash you, you have no part in me."

So many believe that Jesus is their Lord and they serve Him.
You are really not serving Him if your heart is jacked up, you can go home and gossip.

Unless the Word do the cleaning it ain't clean, unless the blood of Jesus be upon it, it is no good.
Unless the dispute be settled through the Word of God it is filthy and unsettled in God's eyes.
Unless it be God's way it is not worthy.

Sinner's build homes in Africa, Haiti, Iraq.

None of us is greater than Jesus is the message.

Nobody who truly believes in Jesus Christ continues to walk in darkness.
1Corinthians 1:18-20
1Corinthians 3:1-3

Y'all Ain't Ready

Unless the Word be the deciding factor, we have no part in Him.

Love

Father,
Help us all to move forward in Your Will and Your Way.

In Jesus Name

So Be It!
