BY GRACE, BY FAITH

IF IT'S NOT BY GRACE, IT'S NOT BY FAITH.
God gives more grace to the humble.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1

Is God's Grace something that can be seen with the natural eye?

We can not physically see God's Grace but we can see the results of His Grace.
God's Grace is what we rely on for everything.
I won't ever rely on my skill, my knowledge or even my own experience to get anything accomplished for myself.

I know me and I know that nothing is sufficient in me but God's Grace.
And every hope that I have for my life and those who I love and pray for is rooted and grounded in God's Grace.

If He is not a gracious God, then I am in trouble.
Because it's all riding on His Grace and what He has already provided for me In and Through Christ Jesus my LORD and Saviour.

I couldn't buy my self back.

So faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
His Grace is what we place our hope in.

What does God require that we put our faith in?

HIS GRACE!

IF IT'S NOT BY GRACE, IT'S NOT BY FAITH.

It's the gift of God's Grace that has provided a way for sinful men to be made righteous.

You are not righteous because of what you do, you do what you do because God's Grace made you righteous, when you took the faith that God gave you and received that righteousness that is of Christ Jesus through the faith that God gave because He is Gracious.
Romans 3:24

We don't have the ability to be right on our own.
There is no plan that can help you apart from the Grace of God.

Believing that God is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him is believing in His grace.
Believing that God is the provider and supplier.
Believing that God is the healer and helper.
Believing that God is the promoter and protector.

IF IT'S NOT BY GRACE, IT'S NOT BY FAITH.

Faith is a gift from God, faith is not something that men manufactured in a lab and put on an assembly line.
Faith is not a franchise.

God gave us faith so that we could receive His Grace.

God gave us faith so that we could receive His Son Jesus Christ.
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the Sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name.
John 1:12
It takes God's Grace to do this, because no man can believe God without God giving them the power to do so.

God gives the power and then we receive.
So the good God that He is, He has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness.
His Grace that enables us to hold our faith up and receive His Son's work.

Without faith it is impossible to please God.
And because all things are possible "with God" that is why He dealt to every man a measure of faith.

Faith is like a basket that God gave us so that we could receive and hold everything else that He wants to place in our hearts and hands.

We didn't stay up all night weaving the basket, we didn't fly to China and strip the bamboo from the tree, we didn't plant the seed that produced the tree.
God put it together and gave it to us.
We just received the basket with gladness and held it up for the Father to place His Grace in.

Romans 5:15-20

I pray that you all come to learn of God's Great Grace that He has made available to all men.
Ephesians 2:8,9
Be strong in His Grace and grow in God's Grace.
