THE PEACE THAT CHRIST GIVES

In Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.

For He Himself is our peace, who as made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in His flesh the law with it's commandments and regulations.



His purpose was to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which He put to death their hostility.



He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.

For through Him we both have access to The Father by one Spirit.

Ephesians 2: 13-17

THOSE WHO WERE NEAR ARE THE JEWISH NATION.
THOSE WHO WERE FAR AWAY WERE THE GENTILES, US.

These Words bring the peace that the world can't take away.
Our access is not through any action of our own.

Our blessing is not through any action of our own.
God Blessed the Gentile while they were yet sinners.

Paul was assigned to get this truth to us and he did.

Once we were alienated from God and were enemies in our minds because of evil behaviour.
But Now God has reconciled us by Christ's physical body through His death to present us holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation.

THIS IS THE FAITH THAT PAUL PREACHED THAT WE SHOULD CONTINUE IN!
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, NOT THE GOSPEL OF "I DO AND I GET."

YOU DO AND YOU SERVE BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHO HAS DONE AND SERVED.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO CONVINCE OR LAY GUILT BEFORE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHO THEY ARE IN CHRIST OR EXPLAIN THE GREAT COMMISSION TO THEM.

THEY KNOW AND THEY DO BECAUSE IT IS WHAT THEY ARE.
IT'S NOT OUT OF OBLIGATION IT'S OUT OF KNOWING WHO THEY ARE.

CHRIST THE LORD GAVE SOME APOSTLES, SOME PASTORS, SOME TEACHERS, SOME EVANGELISTS, SOME PROPHETS.

TO BUILD UP HIS BODY.
POINTING TO THE CHIEF CORNER STONE, THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH.

THE FOCUS OF OUR FAITH IS NOT A EASTER THEME, IT'S NOT A PERFORMANCE.

ARE ALL EVANGELISTS?

ARE ALL PROPHETS?

NO
BUT ALL CAN EVANGELISE.

WILL ALL TEACH?
YES THEY WILL TEACH WITH THEIR LIFESTYLE, WITH THE WAY THEY RESPOND TO PRESSURE.

WITH THE WAY THAT THEY RESPOND TO DISAGREEMENT.

WITH THE WAY THAT THEY RESPOND TO A NEED.

A WITNESS.

ALL CAN PROPHESY.
NOT SPOOKY CRAZINESS BUT POINTING TO WHAT JESUS HAS SAID.

ARE ALL AN EYE?

ARE ALL AN ARM?

NO.

BUT THE WORD SAID THAT IN THE LAST DAYS GOD WOULD POUR OUT HIS SPIRIT UPON HIS SONS AND DAUGHTERS AND THEY WOULD PROPHESY.

THEY WOULD POINT TO HIS SON AND SAY WHAT IS WRITTEN.

The Lord said whoever serves Him must follow Him.

What are you following, the law of Israel or Jesus?
Where He is, there is servants are also.
Do you understand that Jesus has washed you?

Father,
We thank You for Your Spirit that brings all things that Jesus said to our rembrance.

Consider the words of Christ.
