YOU ARE SANCTIFIED

THANK YOU FATHER.

This is not a devotional, this is the truth.
Print it out and study.

If you are saved through the blood of Jesus Christ you are holy.

Men complain that through the preaching of God's Grace repentance is ignored.

Turning from the lie and turning to the truth is what repentance is.
The Lord Jesus prayed to the Father for those who belonged to Him in John 17 saying,

Sanctify them by Your truth. Your Word is truth.
As You sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

Repentance is not apologizing.
You are not saved because you are sorry, you are saved because you believe that Christ died for your sins.
Simply saying that you are sorry without believing that Christ has redeemed you keeps you in sin.
Being forgiven by men doesn't save you from the wrath that sin carries.
Forgiveness is a representation of grace.

We are sanctified in Christ and forgiven of God In Christ alone.

Christ Jesus is how a man becomes holy.

You may have heard that God doesn't want you happy He wants you holy.
Here is the truth.
Blessed is what happy means and Psalm 1:1-3 will show you what you should do.
John 10:10
Happy = Blessed and Blessed = Happy

Holy is what you are.
Holy is His Name.

When The Lord says, Be ye holy for I am holy it's not a suggestion it's a declaration.

You have been declared holy by God In Christ Jesus who is your Lord.
You are not an unclean thing In Christ Jesus you have been washed and it is the washing by the Word of God that sanctifies.

Now The spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who know the truth.

The Word says,
Every creature of God is good, nothing is to be refused if it received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the Word of God and prayer.

well if food can be sanctified by the Word of God and prayer, what about you?

Don't you know that If Christ is your Lord that you also have been sanctified by the Word of God in prayer.
Jesus prayed for you, He is your advocate.

In 1 Corinthians 6 Paul teaches brothers In Christ to not battle against one another not knowing how to settle a dispute wisely among our selves, because it is hypocrisy.
The Apostle Paul places this type of behaviour right along with sodomites, revilers and all the things that we hold up as the worst of sin.

Paul was ashamed that those who had been taught by him and placed in leadership had resorted to taking their grievances outside to be judged by those who did not know God.

That instead of laying all questions up against the Word to be answered and settle that they would take it to the streets and rally for the opinion of men.

Every one who preaches, stands in a pulpit, wears a collar or robe does not necessarily know God or His Word.

And Paul says,
Don't you know that the man who practices unrighteousness will not inherit the kingdom of God?

{ Because the man who continually practices unrighteousness is unrighteous, a righteous man is reminded by The Holy Spirit who is the grace of God of such things}

Don't be deceived, Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the kingdom of God.

And such were some of you.

But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in The Name of The Lord Jesus and by The Spirit of our God.

Paul wasn't reproving them because they were committing a sexual sin of perversion, he was reproving them for how they behaved when they disagreed.
Mighty men.
He said it displayed just as much unrighteousness as living as a drunkard, sodomite or a thief.

I'm talking to the saved folks right now.
The good news is this:
Beloved,
In Christ Jesus you have been made holy.

Not knowing that you have been made holy is like not knowing that you have been made righteous.
Because then you continue to believe that there s something else that God is withholding from you and you strive to get it. Strive/ Strife
But you are holy.

Therefore, (And because you have been made holy) laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as new born babes, desire the pure (holy) milk of The Word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
Amen.

The Word of God says that In Christ You are a holy priesthood.
So you come to Him who is a living stone, who was rejected by men, but chosen by God and precious, knowing that you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

A spiritual sacrifice that is acceptable to God.

Therefore, it is also contained in the scripture,( i.e This is why it is written in the holy Word of God)

" Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no
means be put to shame."

Therefore, to you who believe( John 6:29), He is precious ( He is exalted above all);
but to those who are disobedient (unbelieving John 3:18),

" A stone of stumbling
And a rock of offense."


They stumble being disobedient to the Word, to which they were also appointed.
1Peter 2:5-10

(So He isn't talking to the lost being unbelieving and disobedient, The Apostle of Grace is talking about those who The Word of God was appointed to, The Chosen, The Elect.)

LISTEN

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

Look at all of this.
You have obtained mercy.
You are blessed according to Matthew 5:7.

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8.

A heart has been made holy by Jesus Christ will see God.

Men are going to repent because they are going to turn from the lies of men and turn to the truth of the Gospel.

Meditate these scriptures today:
Hebrews 10 8-10 ( Once and for all...)

Therefore my brothers and sisters I urge you to trust in the Word of God and in His Grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Holiness is not a suggestion, it's a decree.
You have to know what you have been made to be what you have been made.
You are holy says The Lord God almighty for I am holy.

If Christ didn't make us holy, we will not see God.
