COVENANT OF PEACE

I will hear what God The LORD will speak: for He will speak peace unto His people, and to His saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
Psalm 85:8

We limit our selves through how we see God and what we know of Him, we don't limit God.
Amen

Unbelief in what God has said places limits on our lives.
These words are not words of reprimand but the teaching of our Father who loves us.
How can a man follow a faithful loving God if He doesn't know that God is loving and faithful?

God is faithful and He loves us.
It is written in the record of God's Holy Word that The Father is a faithful God that keeps covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His Words.

The LORD is never limited, His hands are never tied.
The LORD God is never limited and His hands are never tied.

I know that some may not agree if you have read that God is limited from an excellent writer and fellow Christian, I have read and admire him too, but there are things that we can take in and things that we can dismiss.
Amen.

God is not limited.

Jesus could do no mighty works in His hometown not because His hands were tied but because the people were bound in unbelief.

The truth makes a man free when it is received.
The truth is hard pressed to be received if it isn't being taught.
God is not bound or limited.
Satan bound that woman with an issue of blood for umpteen years, the devil can't bind the LORD or His Word.

And because The Word is not bound it is alive and powerful and it will never return unto God useless, it accomplishes where it is sent.

I work in a hospital and there is something called a consent form and every patient must sign it giving the hospital permission to treat them unless of course they are unable physically or mentally to do so, then if a family member is available they will give consent.

There are several consent forms for treatment.

The form is to protect the hospital from any legal trouble that may result as a consequence of treatment.
Contracts or covenants are signed in order that the hospital receive payment for services.

Even if a patient is unconscious and has no sign of being able to pay and there is no family around to sign the papers, we don't just let a man or woman die if they need treatment.

There is a law that overrides the signing of the consent in this instance.
We place saving the life over the consent.

Our hands are not tied when it comes to saving a life, when it comes to clearing an airway or putting the stop to a hemorrhage, or surgically removing a bullet, or stitching up a gash.

If a hospital is not hindered in saving a life, how much more our is God?
God is not hindered.
A man will limit himself.

If a man is sick and bleeding and he doesn't know that we will take care of him in our emergency room, if he believes that our hands are tied, he won't come to us for treatment.

The woman called somebody pressed in to get to Jesus with her hemorrhage because His hands weren't tied but hers had been.

Hear what I am saying.
Gods hand is not shortened that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy that it cannot hear.

You have to know this, because some have turned aside from what is written in the Word.
The way of peace they are not intimate with and they have made their own trail that ain't straight and that trail does not know peace.

Men draw up contracts to protect them selves, but God made covenant with man in order to protect man.
God made a constitution to protect man and when men do not understand this is when it will not work for them.

There would have been no need for a law if men would have continued to be governed by God alone, but sin created the need for a law.

God sent His Son to pay for the breaking of the law, so when God covenants with you there won't be a bill in the mail.

The Father won't be saying, "Now you have to hang on the cross..."
You don't hang because Christ did.
What an awesome God!

God's hands are not tied nor is He limited in how He will bless you or when He will or through what means He can bless you.

The Word is a blessing because it unties you and makes you free, God is free.
It's His truth that sets you at liberty.

A limit is described as the maximum allowed.
God is exceedingly abundantly above all that you could ever ask or imagine.
No limits where He is concerned.

The prophets brought forth the promises of God and Christ Jesus fulfills those promises.

Learn about the covenant of peace that God has given to us so that you may be able to receive it.
Amen

The LORD our Redeemer says:
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not leave you, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, says The LORD that has mercy on you.

Isaiah 54:10

A covenant of peace.

A covenant is a constitution with God.
Jesus Christ is the prince of peace and our constitution is written in His blood.

Think about that.

God who is a covenant keeping God has provided a constitution for you to have peace in your relationship with Him, in your marriage, in your friendships near or far and in your life in general.

I don't know about anyone else but I Thank God for this truth.

I pray that you take this Word with you and that Holy Spirit reveal even more as you seek the LORD's face and His limitless mercy, love, and peace for your life.

If Christ Jesus is your LORD you are no longer separated from God through sin, so God's hand is within your reach.
Stretch out and take hold of it.

Don't limit your self and don't allow anyone else to limit you either.
John 14:27
Ephesians 2:12-22; Colossians 1:20-23

LOVE Y'ALL

  1. The writer that I mention is Andrew Murray who is long since gone on to be with the LORD in the early 1900's.
