THANK YOU FATHER.
Hey Y'all!
I don't have a particular plan in reading the Bible, I just go to where The LORD leads me every morning unless I ask Him about something that I don't clearly understand, then He guides me toward that particular subject.
I will find every word that talks about what I don't understand and study it in context.
The Father will impress upon my heart to study a particular thing so that I have a clearer understanding for myself.
He has never guided me to seek His understanding in order to debate it with other folks.
He wants me to understand His love and character and why He sent His Son.
And The Father wants that for every individual on this planet.
He doesn't want us to have to be convinced, bullied, guilted or threatened into coming to Him or trusting in Him.
It's very important that first and foremost we as individuals as we come to Christ don't simply sit as a drone and plug into whatever is being said without confirming it in it's entirety through our own time and fellowship with The Father in His Word.
There are many voices, opinions and movements in this earth but His sheep know His voice and the voice of a stranger they will not follow.
Well, in order to know His voice we have to spend some time meditating on the things that He has spoken through His Son who is the Word.
He doesn't just give us words that pep us up, The Father corrects and disciplines man with His Word as well.
The correction to those who love Him will encourage us and exhort us to joy.
Because we know that He loves those whom He disciplines.
He would not have us to be ignorant.
I want you to know that as you chose to follow The Lord it will not be easy always.
When the disciples first came to follow Jesus He let them know that the foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has no place to lay His head.
He wanted them to know that they would be dwelling among the people.
They followed Him.
They followed Him with hope in their hearts and got into a ship where the waves and water were so rough and high that they filled the boat to the point of sinking, but Jesus was awakened and He calmed the storm and the waves and the sea.
Listen,
I'm not about to tell you that it's easy pea's to follow Christ, it may be the most challenging thing that you ever do in your life but it's God who helps you to follow.
God is not double minded, He won't give us a path and twist it.
Faith is not a blind step in the dark, it's knowing these things.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing and understanding and understanding.
When The Lord was tempted of the devil to throw Himself off of a cliff because the angels would surely come and save Him lest He dash His foot against a stone, the LORD didn't throw Himself down.
The LORD knew what the Word said about that, it was true, but it was not what God had called Jesus to do at that time.
My most fervent and heartfelt prayer is that we develop and strengthen our ability to hear from God through His Spirit and the true meaning of His Words and follow Him exclusively.
Don't be moved.
Don't be overly busy.
Don't get caught up.
Don't be distracted by opinion.
I am staying right here, I ain't going nowhere, til I hear a Word from You...
Lyrics from a Fred Hammond song.
Keep your self in a place and position to hear from The Father.
I am doing what I do because I listened for The Father.
I'm not trying to do anything else, please anyone or impress anyone else but The Father.
In the New Year all white noise will be shut down.
Background static closed off, I have already begun.
Be careful what you hear.
Love Y'all :)
