GO INTO YOUR ROOM

THANK YOU FATHER.

I wrote about you praying yesterday.
It being necessary for you to go into your own prayer room, closing the door and praying to our Father In The Name of Jesus.

This is something that the LORD takes very seriously, because He understood that apart from the Father's counsel even He would be stuck.

It was a regular habit of The Lord to step away from crowds and speak to The Father.

The Father knows what we need before we ask Him, just as we have an idea of the needs of our own children.

Why Pray?
Why set your self aside regular to seek the counsel of The Holy God?
So that you know His voice and you will not follow anything else.

Eve took on another opinion and fell.

The LORD Jesus taught us that if we would ask, it would be given.
If we would seek we would find; knock and the door would be opened to us.

The LORD said, For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

He is talking about salvation, the forgiveness of sins.
There is nothing more important than to be forgiven of our sins.
Blessed is the man whose sins are forgiven.

My nine year old daughter came home yesterday and told me that a young man on her bus was told by adults that he would go to hell for saying the word hell.

My daughter explained to him that the only way to hell is if you don't receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. She told him you don't go to hell for saying the "h" word as he called it.

The child had been taught that " all the bad people will go to hell" and all the good people will got to heaven.

I explained to my daughter that there will be people who have done "bad things" even in jail who will not go to hell because they have acknowledged that what they did was sin, asked God for forgiveness, received Jesus Christ as their LORD and believe that God raised Christ from the dead for them and redeemed them from sin and they will be in heaven.

While we will have some who have never even received a traffic ticket, work for law enforcement yet will not acknowledge their sin as sin, nor receive the LORD Jesus Christ as Saviour, they may do everything a good citizen is supposed to do, but hell will be their eternal home.

My prayer is that we understand this.

If we being evil know how to give to our children good gifts, how much more will our Father in heaven bless us with His greatest gift, when we ask.

We don't have to jump through hoops to earn of God anything, all we have to do is ask for The LORD to forgive us and save us from our sins.

Don't confuse this with you not needing to teach your children responsibility and structure.
God is not Santa with a naughty and nice list and salvation is not earned.
It's by Faith that it might be by Grace.

If you would have God to save you and to forgive you, do the same for other people.

Hang every rule and prophesy on this.
