OBSERVE HIM, THEN YOU CAN TESTIFY OF HIM

THANK YOU FATHER.

When you learn of Him then you can be like Him.

The Goal is to know Him.

The Lord said, learn of Me.

After The LORD Jesus had risen from the grave, He told His students, the men who followed Him learning His doctrine:

All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.

Go you therefore, and TEACH all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, and of The Son and of The Holy Ghost:
TEACHING them to observe all things WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU: and lo, I am with you alway, even until the end of the world.

He didn't say make new converts or send new converts or those who had not learned His doctrine or of Him to gather more people who would be lost.

The LORD didn't say go and teach a man how to imitate another man.
The LORD didn't say go make minions to fill a space.
He didn't even say go teach men about faith because when you hear and understand The Word which is Christ Jesus faith comes.

To observe is to attend to carefully to take care of and guard.
Now either you are going to attend to His teachings, take care of, hold fast to and guard the gospel of Jesus Christ or you are going to attend to what makes you a star and as big as the next man.

Study the time and words and the things that the LORD taught the disciples as He walked with them.
What did they do?

What did Jesus do?
Not what would He do, What did He do?

Who did Christ call out of the crowd to teach?
Who learned of Him?
Where did they spend most of their time?
Was it listening to a bouquet of voices and opinions or was it exclusively hearing the lessons taught by Christ?

They had sat in synagogue all of their lives listening to the teaching of the Torah as a religious routine. Children and adults learn an Easter piece or words of Hebrew as a tradition, never equating those things with a genuine understanding that points to The Christ who walked with and among them.

And when He came there where many who didn't know Him nor He them.

In a state where there are hundreds of churches that profess to be Christian why would it take the arrogance of men trying to prove one woman wrong for them to gather together?

How come nobody did this before the economy changed?
Because everybody wants to be a leader and nobody wants Christ to be magnified above them.

Everybody wants their ministry advertised claiming that this is what we are about.
Don't you know that if your ministry was about anything you wouldn't have to hold folks hostage and keep saying what it's about, the community would clearly know what it's about?

The work would be obvious.
But look at our cities.

Why is it that people who profess to be following Christ and suggesting that as a Christian you don't depend on the government and are about kingdom business have not linked up before now to be the church that supplies what the world government is not supposed to be providing for people?

Have you ever received a call or an email to join up and help the folks without jobs when there was no one who you were trying to prove wrong?
Motive of heart.

Have you heard the preachers who say that the people want all of this help from the church but they are now willing to be that help?
That's baloney because when a people see it's leaders making a dent in the community they run to help.

You don't have to guilt people into doing what God wants them to do if they know God and if they see the leader investing in more than turkeys and spreading them selves to stop the gospel from revealing their motive in whatever state the truth is being preached.

If all of the resources where pooled to help the cities that we reside in instead of going abroad before we have our own on lock, how great that would be.
But it's not about protecting the gospel or His Word, it's about territory and about real truth moving in on it.

Proverbs 6:6,7 teaches this:
Go to the ant thou sluggard; consider her ways and be wise;
Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, gathers her food in the harvest.

If you study the whole text of Proverbs chapter 6 and even Proverbs chapter 10 the Word defines it self illuminating the need for anyone to assume that it means that we don't need God but it shows that when a man knows what is right he does what is right.

How does a man know what is right?
He was taught the Word and he demonstrated the Word.

When did he demonstrate the Word?
When stuff wasn't going as he planned it would.
When someone told him no, when someone didn't agree with him, when someone made a suggestion that wasn't his.
That's when the Word is demonstrated.

That's righteousness.
A man or woman of God when he or she knows what needs to be done he or she does it and they don't have to be told by a group or a counsel of folks, they just do what they know is right.

No man had to guilt me up out of my seat to testify about Jesus.

When you know that you have acted unfavorably with someone, your boss shouldn't have to tell you to go and make it right, the God in you should move you to righteousness.

Leadership is not just you telling those under you to be the change that they want to see, you be the change that you want to see and then you can stop yelling at folk.

Everybody has taken John Maxwell's course and is teaching from his marvelous teachings but they haven't learned the core of the message for themselves.
Churches, Corporations, Schools everybody wants to be a leader and nobody wants to follow Christ.

My prayer is that we all learn to observe the teachings of Christ Jesus, so that when we are there for people we are actually there for the people to lead them to Christ and not out of any other motive.

Is this logical enough?
