STIRRING UP THE WATER

THANK YOU FATHER.

There was a pool in Jerusalem the Hebrews called it Bethesda, it had five porches.
All around these porches lay a multitude of folks who were ill, some so sick that they were paralyzed.
These impotent(blind, feeble, poor, needy, unable to stand erect) people gathered around this pool waiting for the stirring of the water.

For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: and whosoever went in first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

And a certain man was there, who had an infirmity 38 years.

When The LORD Jesus saw him laying and knew that he had been so long in this case, The LORD said to him, " Will you be made whole?"
The impotent man said, " Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming another stepped down before me.

Do any of you believe that you need a man to put you in the pool?

Jesus said to him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
Jesus debunked the notion that you need a man to put you in the water when you have Him.

And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and all of this happened on the Sabbath day.

That man's healing wasn't progressive it was immediate and the man didn't have to drag himself to the water or wait for anyone else to roll him in, because his healing wasn't a result of the pool.
That man didn't get into that water.

Jesus told the man to get up and he did.

When the religious Jews saw this man cured, free of bondage, they said to him,
"It is the Sabbath day it is not lawful for you to carry your bed."

The man answered them saying, He that made me whole, the same said to me, "Take up your bed and walk."

This is a Biblical reason to walk right here.

Who is He that makes a man whole?
Jesus Christ that's who.

The religious asked the man, "Who is he that said to you, Take up your bed and walk?"

The man didn't know who it was that made him whole because The Lord walked away among a multitude of people.
But The LORD didn't leave the man without understanding, He came and found the man again later.

Afterward the LORD found the man in the temple, and said to him, "Behold, you are made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you.

Why did the LORD have to find that man and assure him that he had been made whole?
To secure the man's faith because he knew what the religious would say to the healed man.
They would tell him that it was the work of the devil and that because he didn't meet their requirements and made up traditions that he couldn't have what God supplied.

The same tactic that the serpent used with Eve and the same tactic that many use today.
What convinces a man that he can't be whole apart from it happening a certain way in a certain place,by certain rules, around certain men so that they will receive the glory due God?
The law does.

What could have been a man's sin who couldn't move?
What is the only sin that binds a man and locks him into a state of paralysis?

Unbelief in The Name and blood of Jesus Christ as being sufficient.

You will hear religious men preach that they didn't have to ask questions and that they didn't have to have understanding, that they didn't hesitate but they immediately obeyed.

They say that when they heard the instruction of God they didn't have to analyze it they just obeyed.
We will see, because the instruction of God is coming forth and any who have ears to hear and turn a deaf ear refusing to obey what Christ has said, it will be well apparent who they are.

The Gospel of John chapter 5:1-18

Learn of Him and get understanding men are in bondage and perish due to a lack of divine knowledge and revelation.
LOVE Y'ALL :)
