THANK YOU FATHER.
Hey Y'all!
Jesus Is Lord!
Thank You Holy Spirit.
Accountability: defined as an obligation or willingness to accept or take responsibility or to account for one's own actions.
Where did man drop his will to take responsibility for wrong doing?
Let's see.
The Father asks man, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree that I commanded that you should not eat?
Have you robbed God and His children?
Man's answer: The woman that you gave to be with me, she gave me the fruit of the tree and I did eat it.
So now The Father turns to the woman and asks her, "What is it that you have done?"
Woman's answer: "The serpent deceived me and I did eat?"
It looks to me like whenever man gets involved with evil his will to take responsibility diminishes.
In the beginning God was our church and our state.
All the way up until men elected to follow something other than what God had established.
Kings were a desire of men because men didn't want to be held accountable to God.
God warned man what would be the result of preferring men to govern them rather than their creator.
Can you see that self governing is a myth?
Your friends won't tell you the truth, you need something on the outside of trying to be liked and accepted and cares not whether it is rejected to speak into your life.
Someone who doesn't care about being popular but has your best interest at heart not for it's own gain or recognition but so that you will be saved.
I recently heard a sermon that spoke of King David being the exception because at some point king David did take responsibility for his wrong but even David did not take responsibility until the prophet brought his wrong doing to his attention.
David took responsibility only after he was forced to see himself the same way that he had judged other men.
Someone held David accountable for what he had done, it was God speaking through the prophet.
As noble, courageous, chosen and necessary to our chain of redemption as David was, he was not allowed to build the temple of God and he was not allowed to be exempt from his wrong as if he had a pass.
If you read this blog yesterday you saw how the secular government with Pilate and Herod had no desire to crucify The LORD, it was the church government that pursued that course of action.
Church and State were not separate then.
One held the other accountable.
We don't see that today do we?
Because neither side wants to take responsibility for their actions.
Neither side can be trusted to govern it's officials properly.
Don't separate a pastor's role from any public officials role in society.
Because even they promote that their office should be respected so don't neglect to hold them to the very same standard of any other elected official.
When you want the power and the prestige of the seat, you want the responsibility as well.
The original intent of separating the state from the church's business was not simply to be released from the rule of England.
It was to justify the free labor and enterprise obtained through the ownership of slaves.
The Bible clearly teaches that bondage is not of God and that all men were created in His image and likeness and that God is not partial.
This was recognized by many men in both ends of the spectrum so in order to keep the economy of building and obtaining wealth with free labour it was molded in the legislation.
African American history sees this from it's perspective because there are always two perspectives when you have two groups of people.
The other side wants to squash your view while promoting it's own.
These are facts that are recorded and threaded throughout our history up until this very day.
Thank God for Lincoln who against popularity preferred righteousness and true justice.
LISTEN
Because today the same tactics have reared it's ugly head and if you don't understand you will be caught up under it.
So people don't separate the church from the state because only these two entities will hold one another accountable.
If you look at the behaviour of both sides you see that neither want to be responsible or held accountable for their actions and you can question whether even those who profess Christ are holding themselves accountable to God because their actions say otherwise.
Like a political party refusing to take responsibility for the shape our economy is in, but passing the buck onto the new administration as if it was the cause.
As long as the people who are affected most by this type of nonsense and allow the double standard, the double standard will continue.
Study Luke 23: 1-4 again prayerfully and see the roles of each form of government as it pertained to righteousness.
LOVE Y'ALL :)
