Hey Y'all!

What is it that gives someone the authority or means to continue in a wrong behaviour?

What is it that empowers and or enables criminals, bullies, terrorists, abusers of power, office and or position to commit and or participate in immoral acts?

It can be the double standard set forth by the public, their friends, colleagues, family or those who indulge in the same behaviour or activities as they do.

Or
Their victims.
People will only do to you what you allow them to do to you.
You teach people how to treat you.
If you allow your self to be intimidated, abused, used, threatened and victimized you have empowered people to do that.

The ones who will not speak up and out about wrong actions taken against them become the great enablers in society.

The constituents, financial supporters, partners, tax payers, voters, citizens who when they are wronged are afraid to say that they were.

To those who call them selves the devil's advocate or counsel know that those In Christ have an advocate and His counsel to us was to speak up for the weak and to defend those who cannot defend themselves.

It's not the Internet that gives immoral intentions their power it is the immoral intent of the heart not being addressed after it is exposed that breeds the disease of double standards that we have come to know.

While the Internet exposes us to more perversion, cons, scams and false information today at a faster and wider rate than we had access to 50 years ago, it by no means is the cause of the root in a mans heart.

The lust of the flesh, The pride of life and The deceitfulness of riches is the core of misuse and abuse.

The Bible teaches us that a man is drawn away of his own lust and enticed, that is the seed.
James 1:14,15

The Internet and multiple technologies expose, reveal and catch the criminal and immoral intent quicker than was possible 50 years ago but it is not the enabler.

The perversion found in this medium has been in the mind of man for centuries, long before a computer chip was recognized.

It began in the mind before a man acted on it then, it began in the mind before a man carved it on a cave wall, painted it on a canvas, acted it out on stage, photographed it or put it on film.

So we will not blame the Internet for man's lack of self control or character.
The Internet educates and makes many aware of the description of a criminal and his whereabouts all around the world with one click.
It gives us information that we may have otherwise never known to the protecting of our selves and our families.

It connects family members and does great works of education, ministry and charity faster and more effective than ever before.
This is a good thing.

It's up to us how we use it, police it and support it.

There was a time when men could sneak around and indulge in their perversions and abuses and not be exposed to a wide audience and still hold positions of power, but those days are coming to a close because of technology.

I believe that it is the hand of God who brought this medium to pass so that His message has gone farther and faster than any plane or foot could travel.

Every medium of information has flaws and the Internet is certainly not exempt to those flaws.
Don't allow men who now know that their evil intentions are now subject to being revealed make you believe that the Internet which they use to market their agenda is now an enabler.

It's like saying that because a car can go 120 MPH the car has now exposed us to the stupidity of driving at that speed, becoming the enabler of those who break a law of common sense.
It would be good to ask the manufacturer why it is necessary to make a car go so many more miles over the speed limit.

Because many things are done for primarily to make money it is a necessary good to put safeguards into place and enforce them. This is why we have posted speed limits.
Just like the automobile is useful and safe when it is used properly and for the purpose of which it was made, so is the Internet.

Modern technology carries a tremendous amount of power just like an automobile or a public office or public influence does and it is capable of tremendous harm or great good.
Pray for the latter.

Don't blame the medium that makes the public aware of men or women and their poor decisions. Because on one hand they are glad to use every form of media to promote their agenda but are opposed to it when it exposes how they truly conduct themselves.

The Bible teaches us to consider the outcome of a mans way of life and imitate their faith, to follow them as they follow Christ, when their way is not "The Way" we are not obligated.
It's not the reporting of the crime that causes the crime.

It is always what is in the man's heart that comes to the surface.

The great enabler of stupidity in our society has always been the ability of crooked men to keep their twisted dealings a secret or to brush them off as if they are the exception to the rule.

The truth of God's Word exposes and is always the great intervention.

I pray that all who see these words humbly accept them and don't forget what you saw here today, pay careful attention to the world around you.

Meditate the Words of Jesus Christ and keep your self from being polluted by the world and it's system of doing.
