FEAR AND GUILT

HEY Y'ALL!

It's not the date on the calendar that determines the season, it is the manifestation of the season that determines the season.

God is still good and faithful!
And as God remains good the enemy of our souls is the same, roaming about seeking who he can devour.

The power of the enemy is of no effect to the one who knows who he is In Christ.
Only the ignorant can be consumed.
Faith is not blind and God would not have us ignorant or in the dark.
He always illuminates what we should know.

He is a God who made a light for us to see in the day and a God who made a light for us to see in the night.

So as the enemy continually roams about seeking who he can devour, we do not have to be left unaware of his tactics.
Faith in Christ Jesus has the ability to see clearly and to put out the fire of every dart of the enemy.

Temptation in it's simple form is just an invitation to not trust God.
When man R.S.V.P's on the invite to not trust God he sin's.
John 3:18; James 1:13-16

We know that it's never God who brings the offer to not trust in Himself but it is God who invites us to trust in Him and in His Son.
John 3:16

So why is it that so many miss this?
Because there is so much spoken that is contrary to this.

FEAR AND GUILT.
The two major hindrances to trusting God.
John 3:17

Major tools for any manipulator are found threaded throughout many sermons and double minded teaching.

The enemy and anyone who uses these tactics only resorts to them because they have failed to convince you by any other means to follow them.
When you have learned who Christ truly is no man has to guilt you into following God.
They may however have to guilt you into following them.

Fear and guilt are major tactics in politics and religion.
I never knew how closely related the two were until I meditated Genesis 3 this past week.

Go and meditate the conversation between Eve and the serpent.
Genesis 3:1 fear is introduced.
The impression is that if she doesn't eat the fruit from this tree she may miss an opportunity.
The opportunity to know good from evil.

The enemy is the salesman that is saying this might pass her buy, she may never get the chance to be wise or to have her eyes opened.

If the Father has told you in the day that you do this, you shall surely be separated from Him, believe the Father.

The enemy has to approach us introducing fear because he cannot influence in any other way.
So he has to try and offer us something that if we are not aware of God's provision, we will believe that God has not provided.
Or convince us that we need something that we do not need.

Well, Salvation which is forgiveness of sins has been provided in Christ Jesus.
When you believe on the name of Jesus, when you call on Jesus and ask Him to come into your heart and be your LORD He does.

You are redeemed from hell to live a life In Christ here on this earth and an eternal life with God after this body stops.
This is the confidence that crushes fear and guilt.

I always go back to Eve because in the beginning was The Word.

Fear, initiated by the enemy and used by many from the beginning of time.

Pay attention to the reaction of those who can't influence you and see what they resort to.
There is no fear in love.
