WALKING EPISTLE

THANK YOU FATHER.

James the brother of Jesus said that if anyone considered himself religious and yet failed to keep a tight rein on his tongue, he was deceiving himself and his religion is worthless.

The more I hear religious people weigh in on things where the bulk of their information was gathered by rumor, the more I am convinced that James was right.

James taught in his epistles the religion that God our Father accepts is to look after people in their distress and to keep our selves from being polluted by the world.

The love of money is what has polluted the world and it has also corrupted those who profess to be morally sound.

James didn't simply stop there, he went on to expound on what that corruption was.
Teaching that if a man comes into your presence wearing a gold ring and fine clothes and you say, "Welcome, here is the good seat up front and comfortable at the king's table." "You are in the club because outwardly you match what we represent."

But to the one who doesn't look like you, dress like you or talk like you the greeting is,
"You stand there." or " Sit on the floor by my feet."
" That washroom is for you, That school is for you, That neighborhood is where you belong, This is the labour that we have designed for your kind."

James was teaching that this is not the walking epistle attitude.

You can smile in every person's face you come across and be someone who as soon as they are 20 feet away from you run them in the ground.
Your smile may be attached to your advertisement, you may be running for an office, or raising money.

In Christ you don't do what you do because you are worried about someone catching you doing something else.
You do what you do because it is He that dwells in you.

Listen to some of these people when they talk teaching that you should live righteous so that you are not caught living any other way instead of saying you are righteous so be what you are.

The thing is they have perverted what it is that makes you righteous.

You can quote scripture, wear St. John and teach about how to train a child up and do a teaching on the heart of a mother for her child, stand in front of thousands of people and call Jay-Z ugly and ask why Beyonce is married to him.
Sean Carter is somebodies child too.

Calling him ugly is not what a walking epistle represents.
Jay-Z was made in the image and likeness of God just like every other son and I am sure that his mother and his wife would rise up in offence.

You have to know the letters to be the letters and walk in them.

James said that not many should presume to be teachers because teachers will always be judged more strictly.
Many teachers don't like that.

But that is how the Father has designed it to be and a teacher's response can't be to point the finger somewhere else.
A leader takes responsibility.
It's just a fact that when you stand to teach you have to think about what you are saying.

Although many men and women claim to have their faults and their whole bodies in check, we know that isn't true.
And you will never hear me say that I do.

But what you will see is that those who claim to be holy on their own and shout that you have to get your control together, will prove to you over and over again that they don't have their stuff together.

This is why we all need Jesus.

One of my childhood friends asked why secular institutions were full and churches were not.
It's because many were not opening up the Bible for them selves and coming to Jesus people were actually coming to other men for their approval.

People are getting firsthand information now and going straight to the source, The LORD's middle man is The Holy Spirit.

It's easier to be a clone and stay in a group than it is to step into an area where who you are In Christ is who you are.
It's all about Him.

There will be no more equating material things with blessings and holiness because the world has those things.

So many have sought the approval of men above the approval of God with works perverted.
Now as many open up the Word for them selves they see that God is not represented in the places where they had gathered.

They have begun to learn the epistles and not have them cleverly fed to them with omissions and private interpretations used to exploit.

They have relied on the New Covenant written in The Blood of Jesus and stopped relying on the twisting of Old Testament teaching to be their saving grace.

They have learned to focus on the truth that the Old Testament history and it's most important record is that it point's to Christ.

They have learned that Jesus is greater than Moses and they are sure and certain of that.
They have learned of Christ and they are resting in Him.

Meditate
Holy Spirit will open it all up.
Knowing these things is what will make you a walking epistle.
