GODLY ENCOUNTERS

God is so good!
He won't fail you when people fail you.
When your momma and daddy leave you God won't leave you.
God cannot forget the covenant that He made with His faithful children.
God will not fail you or forsake you.

Have you ever had a day where everything was trying?
I mean from the time you opened your eyes stuff was going haywire?

Everyone you spoke to that day misunderstood the point you were making and they were defensive and offended.

The supplies you need to work hadn't arrived yet, people are calling in and saying they can't report to work and the bosses are demanding 25 different things to be done now!

You have a hole not a run in your stockings, your nail is broken in the most painful place.
The school calls and says the children have a half a day and you had no idea so you didn't make arrangements for that.

You left your lunch on the counter and now you have to stand in a line a block long to spend money you didn't want to spend to eat, wasting time that you don't have.

Your printer starts acting up and you have to print out 16 reports and the ink cartridge is tripping, so you pull it out to change it and you get black ink all over your hands and clothes.

You have to settle childish disputes with 50 year old folks that should be able to disagree and move on and work.

Yet you still manage to maintain sanity and a piece of peace.

When the work day is finally over you get in the elevator to go to your car, it's Friday and someone calls you back for an emergency.
So you step off of the down elevator and get on the one that takes you right back up to your office.

You look tired, your family is waiting for you, your feet hurt and you want to scream and someone says to you, "God's grace is sufficient."

It's like a shower of strength and you remember (that's right!) If it wasn't for the Lord I would have lost it when I opened my eyes, but He carried me through this day and He always has and He always will.

Whether the day goes as planned or there are some glitches, setbacks, or added tasks, you can make it happen well relying on God's grace.

Therefore encourage people and build them up with these words.
