POSITIVE KNOWLEDGE

How do people come to form a view or opinion about any particular matter, subject or person?

By gaining knowledge of the matter, subject or person.

One of the most ignorant things to do is to share or vocalize an opinion about anything or anyone that you your self have no first hand knowledge of.

We are not destroyed by the power of the enemy, the Word of God says that God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Knowledge is how decisions are made.
If you never have the opportunity to know Jesus, how can you make a decision about Him?
If God's law was never placed before you, how could you have the opportunity to make a decision about sin?

Opinions may be well thought out but the only thing that saves a life is truth.
Most opinions and decisions are formed by 3 things:
1. Hearsay- what someone else has said after hearing what someone told them.

(You never take my word alone or the word of any preacher without confirming it in the Bible, this is what my pastor taught us.
He teaches us to look it up in the Holy Scripture for our selves and how to know what it means in the context of it's chapter and the bible as a whole.)

2. Personal Experience- someone who has first hand knowledge.

3. A recording of events.

All of these things can be traced, investigated, looked at and used to come to a truth or end in a mere opinion.

In the medical field we take what is called a medical history from each patient.
This history is key in determining the diagnosis and prognosis of each patient.

No patient is diagnosed with stroke, epilepsy, brain death or any other illness based on one single episode.
For instance you are not considered a diabetic based on a one time high blood sugar.
You are not placed on blood pressure lowering medication because you've had a one time high reading.

I confirm brain death in people after they have been declared clinically dead.
There have been a list of other diagnostic tests done to confirm death and I will be the final exam. The time of death is determined with my exam if organs are to be harvested from this patient.

Only when these things are measured over consecutive periods of time and recorded to be consistently high or low or non existent can a diagnosis or decision be made.

So many people make decisions based in ignorance.

Get married based on a feeling and lack of knowledge.
Have sex with folks based on a feeling and lack of knowledge.
Choose a career based in money and lack of purpose.
Spend money on a whim without looking to it's purpose.
Surround them selves with ignorant and dangerous people for lack or information.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect(mature and walking in shalom), thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16

No decision about Jesus and God the Father can be made apart from the knowledge of His Will, Purpose and Plan for man.
It begins in the book of Genesis and it ends in the book of Revelation.

Christianity is not simply a religion that your country follows because it makes them feel good about themselves.

It's not a black thang, it ain't a Catholic thang, It ain't a Baptist thang or Pentecostal thang.

You don't follow Christ with your arm pinned behind your back.
You freely choose Him after you obtain the knowledge of who He is and what He has done for you.

Come to His Word to know Him.

To be In Christ is not something that you are grandfathered into because it's what your mother or father did.

You are not sheep because you have manners and wear a cross on your neck.

Come and learn what your salvation really means because if you don't really know, how can you share it with others?
People believe all types of backwards things about God based in the opinion of celebrities who have not taken the time to seek the face of God.

But I am saying today that it's up to you to walk through the Word and get understanding.
It's up to you to know who God is like you have taken time to know everyone else that you fellowship with.

POSITIVE KNOWLEDGE

The enemy can only destroy those who are ignorant of his devices.
The ones who don't know the Father and the Son intimately are the ones who are defeated.

It's time to know Him for your self.
