IT'S NOT THE SAME EVERYWHERE

GOD IS SO ABSOLUTELY GOOD AND MERCIFUL!

THE WORD IS WHAT HEALS AND HELPS EVERYTHING ELSE WILL DRY UP AND BLOW AWAY.

I PRAISE THE NAME OF JESUS THIS MORNING.
THANKING THE FATHER FOR GIVING ME REST AND QUICKENING ME IN MY SOUL BY HIS WORD.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW JESUS YOU SHOULD REALLY ASK SOMEBODY ABOUT HIM.
ASK ME, BECAUSE I WILL TELL YOU ABOUT HIM.

I LOVE YOU AND I DON'T WANT YOU TO BE LEFT BEHIND DISCOURAGED AND MISERABLE.

And I want to share with you today something that's been on my heart.
If you know me, you know that I just don't take to heart every flip word or every idle saying.
I'm not trying to condemn you with this, I'm going to teach you something.
Because God's Word says that I will have to give an account for every idle word that I speak.

So I listen to what is being said and then I usually measure it up against what the Father has said in His Word before I take it into my heart as truth.

Eve had to give an account for the conversation that she had with "another opinion".

So I want to assure you of something today because you may have heard it said that "It's the same everywhere.."

I had a conversation last week with a co-worker and I have had this conversation with so many folks, and we were discussing how things in the workplace can sometimes run uneven or unfairly.
It can be frustrating at times when folks who are hired to do a job are doing everything else but what they have been paid to do and as a result mistakes are a regular occurrence.

Well in the health care field we can't afford mistakes.
We are dealing with peoples health and lives.
It's like putting breaks on cars, they have to work.

Some folks haven't been taught about integrity and they have perfected down to a science the craft of being mediocre and doing as little work as possible while giving the appearance of being busy.

They really have no concept of how their behaviour affects those around them and they don't care.
But if anything happens that puts a crook or a snag in their day, "Houston, we have a problem!"

That is selfish 101.

And I have had this conversation with many frustrated people before, folks who where on the brink of walking away from their assignment because they were fed up dealing with unfair practices.

Now there is a way to deal with this In Christ, because we don't walk away from anything due to pressure or someones intimidation or mix of mess.
When we go it's because we were finished, we succeeded in that area and it was on our own terms.
Amen.

I'm talking to somebody.
You may have heard it said, "It's the same everywhere you go."
I'm telling you that it is not the same everywhere that you go.
When you go you are taking the burden removing yoke destroying power of God with you!

Children are not failing basic math skill tests and dropping out of school at high rates everywhere that you go.

City government is not corrupt in every city that you go to.

Crime is not rampant everywhere that you go.

Racism is not the norm everywhere.

Crack houses, liquor stores, strip bars and vacant houses are not everywhere that you go.

Liars and thieves are not in every company or household.

Women are not making poor decisions about men everywhere.

Lazy is not rewarded and promoted everywhere that you go.

Do you know why?

Because it's not accepted.
Because it's unacceptable to somebody.
When it's unacceptable to somebody it's addressed.
It's not ignored and tolerated.

If you wanted to go to work in lingerie and barefoot that would not be acceptable and I am sure someone has tried that and it has been addressed in a dress code somewhere.

It's not the same everywhere because someone takes a stand against what is unacceptable.

To me lying is unacceptable.
And many folks don't think anything of it because they haven't got the teaching from God on it yet.
It is the root of all destruction.
It will always be called on the carpet by me, I will not go along with the lie or the liar.
The devil is a lie and anyone who lies belongs to him.

When a stand is taken against wrong then attention is drawn to it and it is addressed.
Light is shed on the dark, poor behaviour or service and it ceases to exist and productivity ensues.
There are places where lies and gossip are not allowed to circulate because there are people who have integrity and they will not allow it.

They do not tolerate it.


There are managers and leaders who don't lie and they don't tolerate anyone who does.
Because it will reflect on them and at some point ruin them.
There are places where grown people do not keep up mess.
There are places where grown folks do not lie and thrive on messy situations.

There are places where men do not cheat on their wives.
There are places where grown people have enough backbone to not follow the crowd.
I know children that have that backbone.

If you were racist on your job at John's Cafe' and lost your position because of your ethic and behaviour and then hired to work at Henry's Cafe' but you held onto the same ideas, "it is everywhere that you go, because you brought it with you.

If you were a liar, thief and a busybody over at Dr. Martin's office
and ended up under the backlash of your mouth losing hours and then eventually losing that position but by God's grace obtained a position at Dr. Smith's office then find your self in the exact same situation in Smith's office as you were in Martin's office...
It is the same everywhere that you go.
You brought it.

If you step into a place where fowl is rampant and you don't take part in it you have taken a stand against it.

So many destructive and harmful things would still be the same everywhere if one man or one woman would not have stood up for what is right.

There would still be drinking fountains labeled "COLORED ONLY" or "BLACKS IN THE BACK" everywhere that you go.
But it doesn't have to be the same everywhere that you go, you decide how it's going to be based on what you participate in and what you allow in your circle.

It won't be the same everywhere that I go, there will be a change wherever I am.
Because I am not going to tolerate lies, hatred, and mess.
We all will have to give an account to God for what we said and tolerated.
