DON'T BE A WIMP!

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
Proverbs 28:1

ENDURE
The boldness of the wicked should not be overshadowing the boldness of the righteous.
Wicked folks walk into places saying and doing whatever they want to do and the so called "good people" don't get offended.

As soon as God's way is mentioned the "good people" tighten up and want you to shut that down.
"good people" = folks that have decided that they are basically good in their own right not by any thing that God has done for them.

I am talking about true Goodness and Good courage.
The Word of God says that every good gift and every perfect gift comes down from above from the Father of lights...who changes not.

I'm saying today:
Be strong and of good courage; don't be afraid or turned aside: because the LORD your God is with you wherever you go and He is with you when whatever you say is lead of Him and lines up with His Word.

Stop listening to scared folks who won't tell you what God said.
I'm not gonna tell you what you want to hear.
I'm not gonna give my opinion.
I'm gonna get the book and teach you how to look it up and show you what God said.

You don't prosper unless you do what God said and He said, be of good courage.

I remember working in one of the ICU units years ago and a particular male nurse was so bold in his sexual improprieties with the women on the unit it was sick.

Everything that came out of his mouth had a sexual reference to it, he was always rubbing and touching on some female and they were all laughing it off.

I remember watching him literally pick a young woman up and carry her in his arms and sit down in a chair with her on his lap.

Well he came into the room where I was working making some inappropriate sexual joke and I just straight told him, "Don't come in here with me talking fowl."
He was in complete shock.
He was wondering, whats wrong with her?
The other "sisters" let him degrade and disrespect them and because I didn't, he was confused.

Nobody there considered him abrasive.
But if someone like myself speaks the truth, I'm called abrasive.

Some people call me abrasive because I don't back down.
People don't like that, they want you to go along with them or not speak.
I'm not argumentative but I'm confident In Christ.

There are several types of people in the world and we all have different personalities and character traits.
I'm not talking about being down right mean to folks, I'm talking don't be afraid to be firm.

You can't be a disciple and be a wimp.
You might not want to tell folks the truth because you want to be liked and in the crew and all that mess, which one of those folks that you are trying to be liked by or please will be able to get you in the gate?

I'm determined in my heart to be what God told me to be not what people think i should be.

Deuteronomy 31:7
And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of good courage: for you must go with this people unto the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them; and you shall cause them to inherit it.

Joshua was given a charge to be the one to lead these folks into the place that God had promised them.
How many of you know that Joshua couldn't get the people to where God needed them to be if he sat around agreeing with every wrong word and idea that came from them?

Those folks had to listen to Joshua if they wanted to reach the place of promise. LORD knows it took them so long to reach the place because they fought Moses every step of the way.
Joshua was not a punk.
I ain't saying Moses was but he had some timidity issues.

Because of Joshua's courage the Hebrew people said to him:
We are with you and we will follow you and anybody that tries to slow this train up by not following your command, he shall be put to death.

People respect courage, I ain't going out to battle behind a scaredy cat.

The Hebrew people were not joking at this point, they were tired of going in circles and they wanted to get to the place that God had promised them.
But how many of you know that you nor the folks you trying to recruit are not going anywhere if you ain't got no backbone?

Are you ready to go to the place that God has prepared for you?
Fear ain't gonna get you or nobody else there.

If you scared to do what God told you to do and say, you stuck.
You have to tell folks the truth or you are leading them to death.

If you have been given a charge by God to lead folks and your heart is failing them for fear of losing them as a friend, they are not your friends to begin with.
A friend loves at all times even during correction.

We have to learn how to determine who we should be with first.
Everybody don't want to come out so you have to roll with those who do.

I'm not talking betrayal because betrayal causes treachery and physical harm to a person.
Jesus was betrayed and it put Him on a cross, you ain't chipped a nail over what someone has said about you, so suck it up.
And what was revealed about you was so that you could be helped and grow not be stunted and distracted and run from God.

The wicked flee and the righteous stand.

So I pray that all men and women who have a charge on their life to lead people to God and for God, man up or step down In Jesus Name.

It takes the courage of God to not run with whats popular.
It takes the boldness of Faith to stand up when everyone around you is determined to rock your boat.

But God is with you and greater is He in the bold believer than he that is in this world.
God is in your boat!
So act like it and don't be a wimp.

Ezra 10:4
Arise; for [this] matter [belongeth] unto thee; we also [will be] with thee: be of good courage, and do [it].
