HE IS COMING

GOD IS FAITHFUL

I remember when my husband and my self were young, 18-19 years old, working at night and going to school in the day.

He would pick me up from work at night and one summer night out of many he overslept and was late coming to get me.

I am not telling this story so that all of the punctual men can judge my husband.

Kevin actually got a speeding ticket trying to get to me.
The thing is that while I waited on someone who I knew was coming for me, other people who didn't know him began to say, " He ain't coming."

People who couldn't count on the men in their life started to talk to me, like all men are the same.

All men are not the same and all women are not the same.
We all have traits that identify us as female or male.
Character and faith varies from person to person.
THERE IS ONE GOD AND HE IS FAITHFUL

There were people who I am sure they just wanted to make sure that I got home at this late hour alright. The way that they were talking was not out of a heart concern for me, the way that they said it was like you need to just get over it, he ain't coming.

You know what?
The devil might be in your ear right now because you have a challenge in your body, or your child might be in the streets doing Lord knows what.

Your spouse might be in the street doing Lord knows what.

You may be stuck in a place that you don't know how to get out of.

You might be down to your last nickel and someone may be saying,
"He ain't coming so take another route"

Someone might be saying, "You should just take this offer or that offer because He ain't coming."

They may be saying, "You should have known better to put your trust in Him."

Someone may be saying, "You can't be saved this time."
They might say, "You won't be delivered or picked up this time."

You know what I told the one who said my husband (who was my boyfriend at the time) wasn't coming?

I said, "He is coming" and then I waited for him.
Because with the heart we believe and with the mouth confession is made.

Don't be quiet when the devil starts talking smack.

Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the LORD thy God,
He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth
covenant and mercy with them that love Him
and keep His commandments to a thousand generations...

HE IS COMING SO WAIT ON THE LORD.

In the hospital bed.
HE IS COMING

In the unemployment line.
HE IS COMING

In the 12 step program.
HE IS COMING

In the financial aid office.
HE IS COMING

At the bus stop.
HE IS COMING

Wherever you are at if you are expecting Him to come, HE IS COMING.

You are not forgotten nor forsaken when you put your confidence in God.

Who is it that has delivered you from the power of darkness and translated you into the kingdom of His dear Son?

Was it your neighbor?
Was it your cousin?
Was it your co-workers?

You know who it is.

HE IS COMING.
