PRISON MINISTRY

GLORY TO GOD THIS DAY!
FATHER I THANK YOU THAT YOU DID NOT SHUT UP YOUR MERCY FROM US.

I THANK YOU THAT YOU DIDN'T COUNT US UNWORTHY OF THE RISK.
I THANK YOU THAT YOU PUT YOUR SON ON A CROSS FOR ME.

I am sending up prayers to the Father today for every outreach ministry on this planet.
And a special prayer for the prison ministries.
1John chapter 3 gives us a lesson on how to know who is of God and who is not of God.

It goes on to teach us how to restore a brother or sister In Christ when they fall and acknowledge there fall.

King David acknowledged his sin, this is why he was restored.
When he began to act like he was perfect and when he got high on him self the prophet came and told him a story that reminded him of who he was.

We all need a prophet to remind us of who we are.
To remind us while we yapping about our own short comings.

1John 3:16,17 says: (This is my version you can go to this in the KJV version and read it for your self.)

16 This is how we can detect and discern the love of God, because Jesus laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for those who profess Jesus Christ as LORD and Saviour.
17 Whoever has in their ability to help, lead, guide, comfort, care or console, and sees his brother In Christ having this need, and turns his back and shuts off any compassion towards him, how or where is the love of God in him?

On my way home yesterday I listened to a local radio show where dissension was stirred up among Christians.
The topic was whether or not Michael Vick is truly repentant of his sin.

You don't have the ability to know, that is between him and God.
I want you to know something our job as Christians no matter what title we carry is to pray for one another and to help guide and lead one another into truth.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:
Take heed that no man deceive you.( No man, whether he host a radio show, or pastor a church or blog on the web.)
For many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Jesus said that many would betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and deceive many.

This discussion was precious prayer time lost.
Engaging people into believing that Michael Vick had to prove his heart to men.
We repent to God and God only.
Our job is to please God.

And God has given us the charge to judge righteously a man not so that we can criticize him, but so that we have an understanding of who we should engage in fellowship with.
Psalm 1:1-3 is why we have to be able to judge and discern right.

Michael was judged in a court of law and sentenced to prison for what he did.
He acknowledged his sin before God and man, now our job is to pray for him.
We should also for the men of God that the Father has placed in his life to help him in his walk.

He said that he got to this point because he lost touch with His Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

A question was raised by the host asking, if the man who is standing by Michael as a mentor and spiritual help is putting his reputation at risk by standing by him?
Is it worth the risk? was the question.

Yes! it's worth the risk, every soul is worth the risk.
The Son of God gave up the throne to come down and hang on a cross for you and me, was that worth the risk?

He came for Michael Vick too!

KNOW THE WORD
and don't twist it
Don't step away from scripture.
This is what satan did, he said something that was not written.
You know I had to pull my car over because I almost lost my composer, I had to call this radio station.
The Holy Spirit brought to my memory the woman caught in the act of adultery in John chapter 8 where no one in the crowd could condemn this woman based on their on sin.

Nowhere does it say in scripture that this woman had bedded down or knew the entire crowd.
There is no name attached to this woman saying who she was and she was not labeled a harlot, it says she was caught in the act (singular) of adultery.
If you believe that the only sin that a group of Pharisees committed was adultery you should read further.

She was brought to Jesus' feet with the purpose to try Him, to trap and prove Him.
The Pharisees brought up, Moses said she should be stoned to death in the law, now what do you say?
Jesus had already told them that He didn't come to destroy the law but to fulfill it.

The law is fulfilled in placing our faith in Christ who died for your sin.
If Michael does this after he beheads 20,000 dogs, he is forgiven.

Rahab was a harlot who placed her faith in our God and she was delivered and her whole family.
His command is faith that worketh by love, not acts or works, or remorseful looks that outwardly please men.
God knows the heart of men.
Restitution is not repentance.

So the Bible says let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Stand by the brethren in prayer and ministry not criticism, the world hates us enough.

Galatians 6:1-10
Brethren if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thy self, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4 But let every man (every man)prove his own work ( we don't have to prove Michael, we have to prove our selves)and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.

6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth ( be it dissension or prayer) that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
( The Spirit of God has not instructed us to stir up confusion)
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Well the opportunity arises daily because many are living in sin.
In your own family and office and any man living in sin or committing sin is in prison, sin is bondage and that prison is right where Jesus met all of us.

So there may be some in literal prison or in trouble who use Jesus as a way to get over on folks.
Pray for them too!

Who had it all together when they came to Christ?
No man.

Who was already righteous before they professed Jesus as Lord?
Nobody.

What Christian has come in and since they professed Jesus as Saviour never missed it, never messed up, never got a parking ticket, never had thoughts of hatred which is murder in God's eyes?

Not you so don't even think to utter that lie.
This is why we need mature Christians to lead and guide them with truth.

Listen to me if you are in prison, if you have messed up or missed it yesterday or 10minutes ago I want you to know that God wants to help you get right.
Whatever you did Jesus was sent here for you.
He wasn't sent just for the pastors or the famous folks, He came for you no matter where you live or whatever your social standing is or is not.

Jesus came for you when everyone else turned their back on you.
I don't know what you did and I don't need to know or care, all I know is Jesus died for it so that you could be returned to the Father.

And when you ran away from Him He came looking for you to draw you back.
He sent His Word for you.

He is sending somebody today to come and pick you up and dust you off and get you back to where He would have you to be.
He wants to welcome you home and put a ring on your finger and a crown on your head.

You have an advocate with the Father and His Name is Jesus.
When you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and you repent of sin not just say you are sorry, I don't allow my children to say that they are sorry, you can apologize but you are not sorry , you are saved and you have declared that you will turn from and denounce sin in every form from your life.

Ask Jesus to come into your heart and be the Master of it.
Saying, Lord I believe that you died and that you carried my sin debt for me on the cross at Calvary.
I believe that you were buried, put in a tomb and God raised you back to life and now you sit at His right hand on the throne interceding on my behalf.

Thank you for washing me in your blood and making righteous before the Father.
God is Faithful to forgive you and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
Man don't even have the power to wash you clean so his opinion is moot.

When you confess your sin to God you ain't got to prove anything to anyone but God, because if you are pleasing to the Father folks will see that light in your life.

Come to the Father.

Lord pour out your blessing on the prison ministries this day that your grace might abound in them.
there will come a day when the gates of the prisons will be opened and these men and women who have been raised up through the ministers that you ste apart will go into the streets carrying your Word with power.

Anoint them mightily.
In Jesus Name

Father hears us and He answers our requests.

That talk show was the Paul Edwards show on 1500 AM
If any of you know how to get this to him, see that he sees it.
