WE DO HAVE TO LIVE RIGHT

AMEN!
I exhort therefore, that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority;

Why?

That we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Why?

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and come into the truth.

For there is One God, and One mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
God's will is that all men come into the knowledge of the truth.
So the folks who profess to have the truth should be sharing it and not wasting time on anything else.

The Apostle Paul exhorted Timothy to put the people in remembrance of these things, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, because what it does is subvert( destroy the faith)of those who hear such things.
In Titus this is also mentioned where he says there are folks whose mouths have to be shut because they are teaching things that destroy the faith of entire households.
Titus 1:11

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God so if Faith is being overthrown or destroyed it must be by hearing and hearing something other than the Word of God.

That is how it happened in the garden.
Matthew 7:16-20 Jesus teaches us how we will know a man by his fruits what he brings forth.
The fruit of your lips, because out of the abundance of the heart our mouth speaks.
Love is spoken, Joy is spoken, Peace is spoken, Long suffering is spoken, Gentleness is spoken,Goodness is spoken, Faith is spoken, Meekness is spoken, Temperance is spoken.

I can't see your heart and you can't see mines, but I can hear your words and you can hear mines.
Everything is spoken before we see it.
God said light be, and light was.

What has happened is the majority of quote "Christians" have walked away from studying the Word of God for the purpose of proving themselves to themselves and moved over into trying to prove their brothers faithfulness.

We are supposed to be able to judge character, the Lord said that we would judge but we must understand what that means and for what purpose.
Not as the world judges.

Many are quick to take scripture out of context for whatever purpose they deem and confuse the hearer. This is what Satan did to Eve and then he tried it with Jesus.
Thank God it didn't work with Jesus, and it doesn't have to work on any of us.

Seek to know God through Holy Scripture.
So many use it as a tool to try and read the other man but few use it as a tool to read them selves.

You can't understand or perceive who a person is by trying to read their facial expressions or body language.
I know that these things have been studied by men and they have cataloged what the majority may do in certain situations.

As much as you value the study of text books and home remedies and everything else man has to offer as a solution, it would do you and your loved ones a service to study these scriptures with the same trust and confidence.

For instance, if the person you are talking to crosses their arms while you are talking to them, this may indicate that they are not receiving what you are saying, it may also mean that they have cold arms.

Folks think that when I cry I'm sad, I cry when I'm happy, if I haven't seen you for a long time and you have been on my heart and I have been praying for you, if I see you I am going to burst out into tears.

We spend so much time trying to read the outward appearance of men we overlook the heart.
You can't judge folks based on how you have been programmed and wired.
Everyone is not like you.
Liars think everybody tells lies, they are deceived.

You know we sometimes judge people by their outward appearance and we are dead to right wrong.
We assume that if someone doesn't praise God the way that we have been programmed to that they aren't true worshippers.

We assume that if you are of a certain race that you can or can't be trusted.
Liars, thieves, cowards and men and women who lack integrity or forgiveness come from every socioeconomic level, culture, back round, area of the planet, sex and race.

We have to stop doing this.

This is how you can end up married to a pedophile, a woman who abuses you or a man who beats you, a drug addict, someone living an alternate lifestyle stealing or spending all of your money and placing you in debt, or someone in a deep depression or perversion, or a man on the down low because you didn't take the time to know them.

Become thoroughly acquainted with people.
You know there are people who don't even know me who may have had one or two encounters with me and based on what someone else has said they think that they know me.
Some think that I am the greatest thing since air conditioning and some hate me.
I am neither great nor deserving of hatred.
But greater is He in me...
The thing is they don't know me but they purpose in their heart to give a report on me like they do.

So people who don't know me are quick to make a decision about me, don't do it, because you can't.
Folks are coming and taking sneak peeks at me just to see what I look like.
Watching my facial expressions and studying my movements and all that jazz, trying to read me like a fortune teller.

You won't know me until you know me.

Know God for your self so that people can't come along and tell you what He requires.
This is accomplished by being trained in the Word Of God and not merely entertained a couple Sundays a month.

Instead of first studying the Word of God to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.
We purpose only study to show and try and prove other folks.
Let a man examine himself, it will keep him from being ashamed.

We perish for a lack of knowledge, we have to learn.

Don't you just respect a man or woman who has the nachos to make a solid decision based on truth and not rumor?
I respect integrity because I serve a God of integrity.
If God was not a righteous God of integrity where would we be?

Religions who believe that it's OK to hold grudges and lie really should think about that, because your whole belief is based in falsehood if that is the level of integrity of what you profess.
Your very source could be lying to you if untruth is accepted.
Where will that leave you?

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Galatians 5:13

...take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to them that are weak.
1 Corinthians 8:9

I blogged about Michael Vick yesterday and I want you to be sure not to misunderstand what I was saying.
So before all of the folks who have not decided to live righteous but wear crosses Amen what I said, LISTEN.
We do have to live right when God has made us right.
The wages of sin is still death.

Because we have a Father who is faithful and just to forgive us is no excuse for us to keep running back to the world system.

Once you know the truth and then you decide to turn away from it, the Bible says it will be even worse for you than if you had never even known the truth.
It will be better for the man who never even knew.
Living righteous is achieved through seeking the way through the Word of God.

Once you receive Jesus as Lord you are not done and you are also not alone.
you have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of you, you just have to learn to be lead of Him.
Find your self a Bible teaching congregation that will require something of you, that will hold you accountable.

I'm talking about someplace where they do more than tell you it's going to work out and you are going to breakthrough without teaching you how breakthrough is achieved through obedience to the Word.

BECAUSE IT DOES NOT WORK OUT WITHOUT THE WAY OF GOD BEING WORKED ON IT.

We have to continually walk with Jesus every day, this is an enduring to the end lifestyle.

The Word Of God says that since we have obtained the mercy of God, we should abstain from fleshly lusts that war against our soul.
If we walk in the spirit we do not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Living the way we used to live before we were saved is not breakthrough.

Having our lifestyle honest among the world so that even when they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your life example, that is apparent, glorify God in the day of visitation.
That is breakthrough.

I know people want seven steps to everything but the 1 step is faith that worketh by love and faith obeys.

The way that a Christian lives his or her life has the power and potential to lead others to God.
The way that a Christian spends their time and money has the potential to produce mighty things in this earth.
The way that a Christian lives his or her life is also a form of worship and honor to the God who formed and saved us.

This is how we glorify God.
I don't mean grinning in every bodies face all of the time either or criticizing every act.
Reproof is not persecution, persecution is a tool of the enemy, reproof is Gods correction and instruction.

Reproof and correction is needed so that the faith of men is not destroyed but increased.

So the Word exhorts us to follow the law of the land for the Lord's sake.
And to follow the law of God for our own sake.

It is the will of God that we do so, and it also shuts the mouths of ignorant and foolish men.

We are free, but we do not use our freedom as a disguise to live maliciously, but we use our freedom to serve God.

1 Timothy 2:15, 1Peter 2:10-16, Titus 1:11

Jesus left us an example and He called us to follow Him in it.

Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
If you profess Jesus you do have to live for Jesus in everything that you do.
