FENCE RIDERS

Climbing over the fence.
This is a mini manual to be printed out and studied.
It's not a devotional, it's a lesson.
Thank You Father for Your Word and the truth and Power that is the gospel.

One of our dear heart ministers joked about climbing over a fence this weekend.
The Lord makes us able so she climbed over to get into her house.

I dare say that there are some places that many of you have been trying to get into but instead of climbing over the fence you are riding the fence.
As long as you ride the fence you won't step into that place.

My Holy Ghost mind got to ticking because she (climbed over the fence.)

She didn't say that she got to the top of the fence and sat there.
She's not stuck on a fence she got to where she needed to be.
I know what side of the fence she is on spiritually she is not a fence rider.
She is all the way on God's side.

I can say today that I am all the way on God's side.
Can you say that you are all the way on God's side?

I know some may say they are all the way over just to be indignant with me but your life fully displays what side of the fence you are on.
If you aren't being real right now maybe at the end of this blog you will have decided.

I want to talk to those who have not made it over the fence but are trying to ride with one foot in God and the other foot in the world.
You will be drawn and quartered if you stay in this position.

You may be blaming your setbacks on some other entity, a church, a pastor or other people, when the true reason behind the setbacks and blocks are you and that saddle you have thrown over the fence.
Today is the day to make a choice.

Many will follow God in front of the congregation or their parents then every where else follow the devil, half stepping.
That's what religion does, it tries to serve God and hell at the same time.

Did you know that we can't serve two masters?
Did you know that we can't please God and the world at the same time?
Did you know that if we please God our family or friends won't be pleased all of the time?
Jesus said it.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other...
Matthew 8:24
There is no group on this planet worth me despising or hating the Way of my Father to have their approval or companionship.

You may be having a hard time walking away from folks who don't serve God's purpose, let the Word of God help you today.
Peter said to Jesus in Luke 18:28, We have left all and followed you...

Jesus said, Truly I say to you, There is no man that has left house, or parents or brothers, or wife or children, for the Kingdom of God's sake.
Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
Luke 18:29,30; Mark 10:28-31

I know you grew up with them and that's all good but you are born again now.
Ephesians 4:19-32

God will give you new friends right now and your life decision can lead to the new birth of the old friends.
God will supply all of your needs through Christ when you walk away from being a disciple of the evil one and follow Jesus.
You will receive in this present time, now.

I know people who hate to hear what God said about anything especially living righteous and holy before Him.
They get disturbed by praise and annoyed when the truth is spoken, but their ears are open, alert and joyful at the sound of gossip, lies, cursing and crazy.

I remember when that was me when I was just going to church and acting like I didn't know what a church was.
But God who I praise invited me to go to the other side for real and I took Him up on His invitation.
Before I made a decision to be on "one" side of the fence I didn't want to give up the world.
Even though it did nothing but disappoint me I held on any way.
Until I heard a Word.

I'm specifically talking to those who proclaim Jesus as Lord.
The ones who you ask if they are Christians and they answer, yes.
Jesus said, if they know my Father they know Me and will listen to my Words.

Jesus taught about the danger of making money our God in scripture and He also spoke of the dangers of having an evil heart and keeping company with scorners, the ungodly or being in the intimate and close company of sinners.

Putting any person, place, thing or opinion above God the Father.
He didn't mean be broke, He meant don't make money your idle.

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Single means One.
If my heart be set on One, that is God.
One Way to live, One God to serve.
All that I need shall be added unto me.

Not several ways to live and several gods to serve.
Not several opinions.

We can't dabble in darkness and be full of light.
...for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?...
2 Corinthians 6:14-18
No part.
Two completely different compositions they can never agree.
Heaven and Hell will never run on the same terms.

This means that we can't go out to the strip clubs, bars and casinos or hang with folks who do and then stand in church Sunday claiming to be on One side of the fence.

A tambourine on Sunday, undercover Christian on Monday wearing the heathen cape out and about.
Following "friends" and making our "friends" our God.

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me, sayeth the Lord.
Love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

(Fence Riders) don't want to make a public decision (lifestyle) to be for or against God.
That's double minded and unstable.

There are folks who don't know where they want to be in a relationship with God because they don't know Him.
They know religion, like the rich young ruler did and they can roll with the ritual and routine but when it comes to making a clear cut decision to truly follow God they get hung up on the fence.
What will happen in that day when you stand face to face with the Lord the way this young man did is you will walk away grieved.

Religion will tell you that you can be blessed following the ungodly and fools.
But God will tell you: No you won't in Psalm 1:1-3.

There are folks who don't know where they want to be in a relationship with me.
Some are not sure if they want to be known as a friend of mines or not.

Some are with me on the good days and the bad days.
They are on my side of the fence because we believe and follow God like disciples.
These can see that God has some sort of plan for me and they love me for me and they pray for me.
I can see that God has a plan for them and I pray for and support them.
They don't distance them selves from me.
Like how John the Baptist was not ashamed of Jesus, it was ride or die until the end.

Then others can sense a God plan for me and they haven't completely kicked me to the curb, they stay quiet because if they don't speak now they think that they can step up later not because of who I am, but because I may serve some use for them in the future.
Judas made 30 pieces of silver by dissing Jesus.

Some don't truly want to acknowledge me as a friend yet, just in case it all blows up, they want to stand back and see what color the wall is gonna be before they claim me.
If the wall looks messed up they can say, "I told you she was fake".
If the wall looks pretty, then I'm their girl from way back.
Not gonna happen.
You know how Nicodemus went to see Jesus at night because he didn't want to get caught up and outcast by the Pharisees who were against the Lord?

And then there are the ones who talk about and lie on me behind my back and smile in my face.

There really is nothing new under the sun.

So we have disciples (ride or die), fence riders(unstable) and down right other side of the fence (deceived and deceiving).
Just like Jesus had.

Now people can do this with me because I'm not coming back on a white horse in the clouds.
You might be alright riding the fence with me, you can have one foot on my side one day and when it gets too hot or looks like I'm not the most popular you can go with the crowd like Peter did.

I know who is with me and I am never in the minority.
Just like Jesus knows who is with Him.

The Word of God paints a picture of what Jesus will say to men when He returns.

Come, thou good and faithful servant or Depart from me thou worker of iniquity.

If Jesus is gonna be telling folks at a certain time to get out of His face, no matter the deeds, you might want to think about imitating His example.

We can't stand back and wait until we see Jesus coming in the clouds before we decide to get off of the fence and follow Him for real.

Jesus said, "Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."
John 20:29b

[Lolita, I resent you saying that because I go to a bar or the casino that I am not a Christian, I believe in God.]
Alright, I will call you double minded, doubting or wavering then.
A Christian follows Jesus and His teachings.
The Bible says, let not the double minded man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.
James 1:6-8

"Lolita, I don't think that a bar makes me a bad person"
What makes you what you are is what Jesus did for you not the opinion that you have of your self.
And not going to a bar doesn't make you a good person either.
Don't toot your own horn about goodness, no one is good but God.
I'm talking about you staying in a position to hear and be led of God and not be caught up in a position where you are not sober and an easy target for the enemy to take you out.

Mind twisted and sleeping with some nut who beats you, your child and robs you.
or
Trying to manipulate a man into marrying you and any man that can be manipulated by you into something can just as easily be manipulated by another woman out of something, right out of your life.

So listen and learn.

Remember Thomas?
How he didn't believe that Jesus had risen, because he wasn't with the 12 when Jesus came.
John 20:24,25

Thomas had the attitude {I'm not believing all of this, I'm just gonna wait and see and if I don't see I am not rolling with it}

Thomas didn't see any reason why he had to do anything different.
Thomas didn't understand that his words were a display of his faith or lack there of.
I wonder where Thomas was at when the 12 saw Jesus, he wasn't where they were.
Was he on the other side of the fence?

Either we put our selves in position to hear and witness the miracle of God or we put our selves in a position to miss God.
I don't know about you but I do not want to miss God.
I know what side of the fence I'm going to be on when He speaks and when He returns.

God was merciful towards Thomas.
This Word is God's mercy being shown towards you today.

I am definitely not asking you to believe in or follow me.
My question is, "How long will you stand between two opinions?"
That's what Elijah asked the crowd in 1 Kings 18:21.

If the worlds way be your God serve it fully, have the courage to go along with what your life is professing.
Don't pretend to follow Jesus, don't be a "hypocrite" like you so quickly call those who try to share God's truth with you.

If Jesus is who you profess make all of your actions match your confession.
If you are a disciple of satan because he made disciples too, follow him.
Don't tip toe around it.

It takes peaches to follow God for real.
It's easy to go with the crowd, but it's a disciple of God who against all opinion stands in the face of persecution and adversity on God's Word.

So you ask:
[No one knows my heart but God, I was "raized" in the church, how can you tell me what I am?]

I am not telling you what you are, you are telling me what you are by what you follow.
A decision is made by the actions that follow.

Fornication is not on Christs side of the fence or haven't you discerned that yet?
Did the church you grew up in "raize" you to know this?
Did you know that envy and evil won't be in heaven?

Did you know that there will be no gossip, lies, covetousness, unforgiveness, strife and backbiting on the streets of heaven?
Did you know that the elect of God don't fire up blunts, get drunk and gamble?

Did you know that what happens in Vegas is in High Definition on a wide screen before God?
It doesn't stay in Vegas.
Vegas will be judged along with every place else.

Jesus said:
...You are of your father the devil and the lusts of your father you will do...
John 8:44a

If God be your father do His Will.
For God so love the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God so loved you that He put you above the comfort of His Son.
If you so love God are you willing to put Him above homosexuality?
If you so love God are you willing to put Him above abortion?
If you so love God are you willing to put Him above fornication?
If you so love God are you willing to put Him above pornography?
Galatians 5:19-21

What are you willing to put God above?

How many sermons do you need?
How many conventions and conferences must you attend?
How many bible studies?
How many fasts?
How many people in your family have to be converted or killed before you truly turn to God?

It can be decided today.
1John 1:9
You can say right now, "Today is the day I am going to the other side to serve God fully."
God is inviting you to get off of the fence because He knows that your behind is hurting.
1 Kings 18:1, 18:21-39; Matthew 11:28-30

How long will you ride the fence?
What will your answer be?
God will answer by fire.
