WHILE YOU CLOSED YOUR EYES

THANK YOU FATHER FOR OPENING THE EYES OF YOUR CHILDREN THROUGH THE GOSPEL.

I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;
And lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.

(SOUNDS LIKE A HEDGE TO ME)

Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
So shall thy poverty come as one man that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
Proverbs 24:30-34

While your mind is closed to the ways of God...
While you may go to church but are blinded believing it doesn't take all of that watching, praying and living holy and obedient.
While your focus is on the material things of the world and not pleasing God.
While the worldly pursuits are your focus above and beyond the pursuits of heavenly things.

Think on these words.
Matthew 13:24,25
24 The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Jesus explains this parable in Matthew 13:37-43

This is not a lay down in the bed with a pillow sleep, this is a spiritual sleep.
This is a closing of the eyes towards the Will of God, a folding of the hands not receiving.
Proverbs 6:9-11.

This word poverty is far more than just being broke, because the prosperity of God is far more than material wealth.

Meditate.

Many men have a philosophy.
A Lawyer has studied the law and practices it, so he/she can talk to and teach you about that.

A Doctor has studied medicine and practices it, so he/she can teach or talk to you about that.

A Scientist has studied science and practices it so he/she can teach or talk to you about theories and discoveries.

A Pilot has studied flying so he/she can talk to you or teach about that.

None of these folks know God's Will unless they have sought to understand it through just as much study of His Word as they have studied for their profession.
Religious folks can tell you about religion.

A child of God can talk to you about God
I know a pilot who has studied God's Word and knows it with the same skill as he knows how to fly a plane.
I will hear from him.

I know a physician who knows the Word Of God just as fluently as he knows the make up and anatomy of the human body.
He can teach me something.

I know an attorney who is filled with the knowledge and law of God just as much as she is filled with the knowledge and laws of this land.
I respect her opinions.

I know a scientist who understands that God is the giver of knowledge and the creator of man, gravity, the sun , planets and all that upholds them.
She can teach my children.

A child of God has studied the Word of God.
Now who can tell you about what?

If you are training folks to do what you do, it is obvious that they don't know how to do it.
So genious they are not, they read a book and practiced.

How can they have more information than you do about a subject that you have studied, when you have studied and done the work?
They couldn't.

No resident knows more than senior staff.

What would I look like telling a woman who has practiced ophthalmology for thirty some odd years that I don't believe there are blood vessels in the eye, I believe that the eye is nourished by the air.

I would look like and sound like an arrogant uninformed fool.

Folks may be able to one day do what you do but until they have studied like you have and done what you have done...
Listen to folks who know what they are talking about.
