CONFIRM IT

THE SOWER SOWS THE WORD AND THE GOOD GROUND PROTECTS AND NURTURES THAT SEED SOWN.

GOD HAS SOWN HIS SON WHO IS THE LIVING WORD INTO THIS EARTH, ARE YOU GROUND THAT WILL PROTECT THAT SEED?
Father thank You for Your faithfulness and wisdom.

I talked about setting your heart and fixing your thoughts on Matthew 15 yesterday.
Did anyone do that?
Because if you did that means that you sought to get understanding.
It means that I didn't just drop the seed and it was scooped up by the evil one.

It means that YOU took measures to cultivate and grow that Word sown into your life, so that YOU can bring forth 30, 60, 100 fold.
An Apostles ministry is a 100 fold return ministry.

The men who taught my pastor taught him in a way that he could in turn teach men to be fishers, and then we in turn are able to teach men to be fishers, and so on and so on and so on.

This is what Jesus did.
We don't just dress up and put on hats and sing and clap our hands.

Meaning that you are teachable and a teachable man can then in turn teach with accuracy by and through the anointing of God.

God is a multiplying God and the church is not just some club it is a living breathing organism that moves through the earth multiplying seed sown.
Amen

We have to protect our seed.

So yesterday at work I was helping out in our EEG labs video room, my boss is a believer in us all being cross trained.
Give a hand where you can and make this ship run right.

As I sit in the room the wife of one of the patients is curious to know when her husband will be unhooked from this monitoring system.

I wasn't exactly sure if 3:00pm was the exact time so what I did was call the EEG tech leader to confirm it with her.
She is the one who would know such things and she told me 3:30pm.
So now I have confirmed something that I wasn't sure about.

At 3:10 one of our reading room doctors calls and asks that the study be sent back and the patient unhooked and she says that they usually send the studies back at 3:00pm.

I explained to her that I had confirmed it with the leader directly over me and was told to unhook the patient at 3:30pm.
The doctor replied that what I was saying was odd because normally they stop and unhook at 3:00pm.

You may think that these blogs are odd because you may not be used to studying what God has said, but all you have to do is confirm it.
You never have to take my word for it,just like the doctor was free to contact the leader and confirm what I had said, that would have removed all of the odd from the equation.

Matthew chapter 15
Lets remove the odd from the equation.

The religious people who walked the earth when Jesus did are no different from those who walk the earth now.
They broke the command of God for the sake of tradition, ritual and their culture then and they still do today.

The religious group that followed Jesus wanted to prove Jesus was not the Messiah, they asked Him, "Why is it that those who follow you don't wash their hands before they eat?"
Why do they break the tradition of our forefathers?

So know that whenever you begin to say what God said folks are going to want to hem you up in a corner and ask you all of these "Whys" find out what they believe is the (why?)
Find out who they serve and then go with the basics first, being salvation.

Jesus asks them a very important question.
Why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition.

The Lord says that it is not what goes into a man's mouth that makes him unclean, but what comes out of his mouth.

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
What have you said that didn't line up with what God has established as truth and right?
What have you done that doesn't line up with what religion you profess?

Religion has certain routines and rituals that are followed daily or once a year but, what is your daily conversation?
You dress in such lovely religious garb and then you defile your body and your mind with alcohol and other things.

You lack integrity.
For all of your ritual does your life really serve and honor God.

Ask your self these questions.
You say that the candle is for Him but do you then turn and do or say something that makes that candle of no effect?

Is it a sweet smelling savour unto God or has it become a stench?
Evil is a stench unto God.
A heart of pride and unforgiveness is a stench unto a God who you expect to forgive you.

You cover your head and you curse, steal and lie like the devil.
You light candles and lust after children.
You are too arrogant to hear from God because pride is what you walk in and not understanding.

You dishonor your self, wife, children and God by having affairs with the women on your job.
You think charity fund raising covers a multitude of sins.

And this is how you make the Word of God null and void in your life, because you put God aside for culture, ritual, routine and to fit in.
God says, these people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me.

Well of course the Pharisees the religious sect are offended at the Words that Jesus has spoken and the disciples come and ask the Lord, don't you know that you have offended them?
Matthew 15:12

Lolita, don't you know they won't speak to you now and they will try and discredit you?
You don't want to get them upset.

Jesus said, Look, "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up at the roots." Leave them they are blind guides.
If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.

Jesus Christ was about His father's business and so am I.

Jesus didn't stand around debating, He said what He had to say and then He got back to teaching those who wanted to protect the seed that they had sown into them.

Religion withholds wisdom and it wants you to believe that God can't be comprehended.

Have you ever heard the saying, "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink"?
Religion won't even lead you to the water.
Religion is afraid for you to know what God said, because if you ever find out what God said and who God is, you won't follow religion anymore, you will follow the One True Living God.

Religion doesn't teach you to seek understanding through study and application, it doesn't require much of you.
It wants to continue to wear it's big hat at all costs.
It is stagnant.

Religion is indignant and it will not teach you Gods Word, it will preach at you, but it will not show you how to fish.

I remember having a teacher who wouldn't share all of his study resources with me because he didn't want me to know as much or more than he did.
Oh he gave a couple of weak resources that lacked, but the really juicy ones he didn't reveal.
He didn't want me to know how he got to where he got.

I asked about a particular source and he said that the book was out of print and couldn't be found anymore.

Do you know I asked the Lord to show me and in that same day a couple of hours later that source was revealed to me by the dean of the school.
I was sitting in her office and the book was on her shelf, I asked her about it and she gave it to me because the new edition had just arrived in the mail for her.

It wasn't out of print.
And you have at your disposal a book that will never pass away, the holy scriptures in the Bible.
Heaven and earth shall pass away but not one word of this book shall pass away.

Confirm It and it won't sound odd anymore.
