GOD SET YOU IN THE CHURCH

God set you in the church.
I know that you think you set your self in the church but it is the Holy Spirit that leads and guides us if we will be led.

Because God is righteous, good, faithful, loving, awesome, all powerful, merciful, full of compassion, slow to wrath, great and greatly to be praised.
He pulls us together to form the body of Christ.

We are all members.

The Lord set us to be a light in a dark world, He could have set us on the moon but...

God set us in the church:

... For the perfecting(maturing) of the saints, for the work of the ministry (service), for the edifying(building up and encouraging) of the body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:12

The Father set us in the church to work.
The Lord set us in the church to get His Will done in this earth.
God set us in the church to add to it.
God considers us an asset.

God has set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased Him.
He places us where He needs us to be.

If one of us suffers, all of the members suffer with it, so we should care for one another, love one another , pray for one another and serve one another.

Time is one of the major expressions and proofs that you love.
You spend time with the things and people that you love.
Time is extremely precious and when you are not being paid for your time and you give it freely it is a definite measure of where your treasure lies.

When a man spends time with his wife and children it is the most loving gift that he can give.

When we choose to give of our time for our brothers and sisters in Christ this is a reflection of the love and glory of God shining through in us.

There are definitely hundreds of things that people could do with their time other than give it to someone else.
When you love God, you love his people and you want to provide for God's people.

When you love God you spend time with Him and when you love God you give of your time to His causes.

I didn't choose my church, God set me in my church.
I was not shopping around for a church.
I didn't compare it to any place else.
I didn't know the size or the history of Word Of Faith or the reputation or character of my pastor.
I didn't know that he was one of the most successful pastors in the state or in the country.

I didn't know that he is a real Apostle and Teacher who has raised up and sent out men and women and actually planted multiple churches throughout the United States and abroad.

There are approximately hundreds of churches between my home and my church.
If I was setting my self in a church, I would have definitely chosen a smaller one.

There are pastors who I had heard of and they were more well known, but I was lead by God to my church.
I heard my pastor speak on television and the Holy Spirit called me through his words.
Now once I did follow God's leading I did learn over time who my pastor was.

Know the character and integrity of the men and women you follow.

I was not drawn to the building because of who my Bishop is in the beginning, I stayed because of who he and Pastor Deborah are.

If I would have heard Bishop preaching on a street corner on a box saying the very same thing that he said on TV, I would have came to that corner and listened to him on that box.

I was set in the Children's Church by God, I didn't choose it, I would have liked to just sit in the sanctuary every Sunday.

How would that add to the lives of other folks?

I was set on the Internet by God to write, I didn't choose it because I would rather not be noticed or known.
I would rather just be quiet and go about my life in pure obscurity.
I don't like people looking at me and I definitely don't like putting my self out here to be judged and criticized.

I will for Gods purpose.

When God sets you on a path, He lights it and Holy Spirit leads you through.

Since God has saved me and delivered me, the least that I can do for Him is shine for Him and serve His purpose and people.

Has God delivered anyone else out there?
Has God been good to anyone else out there?
Has God done anything for anybody who reads this blog?
Has God set you in the church?

Well, I'm saying all of this to say that God set you to be an asset and not a liability.

God has set us all in the body to be a light.
If you are in a church help it, If you are not in a church get before God and be led to one that teaches His Word without compromise and help spread the Good News.

Add to the church and shine for Jesus.
Serve God and His people.
