Because by one man sin entered into the world, and death came by sin; and for this reason death was an inheritance to all men, for this reason all have sinned.
Until God's law came ( which is the knowledge of sin), sin was in the world unjudged and unrepentant of.
Where there is no knowledge there can be no charge.
So death reigned over every one even those who had not committed sin from Adam until Moses came with the law from God which is the knowledge of God about sin.
Why did God wait?
Because no one looked to God.
People looked to other men, statues, cats, birds, the sun and moon.
People always think that they are waiting on God when all they have to do is look to God and He will give the answer and the way out.
When man started to cry out to God, God raised up a man to deliver them.
Just like He has done for us.
If death ruled by one man Adams sin; much more, exceedingly more, abundantly more is the grace and gift of righteousness that reigns in the life of those In Christ Jesus.
The goodness and grace of God is that where sin was full to the top, Gods grace surpasses and overflows sin until it is no more.
The tougher that it gets the more God's grace will be available.
You need to know this.
You need to know if God has provided and caused you to win in the past, that He wants to do it again if you will partake of and rely upon His grace.
The toughest thing there ever was was to be separated from Him and if He made a way for us to be redeemed and returned to right standing with Him, everything else is gravy.
The tougher it gets the more grace is available for the believer.
