KNOW GOD

I talked a little yesterday about what makes a man right with God and I did that because of the twisted views and opinions that are floating around in the world.

This came about because of a woman who got angry with me because I wouldn't lie for her, because it is so common to just be slick and twisted she couldn't even comprehend that I wouldn't participate.

It was a genuine shock to her, so shocking that she proceeded to tell about 6 other people.

The world system puts a color code on lying believing that there is such a thing as a little white one.
I guess the theory is that lies don't hurt.

A lie is a lie and it will destroy lives, reputations, business, relationships, families and trust.

Now her face got all twisted up and she went and told her co-workers what I told her, and they agreed with her that it was no big deal. This is why she went and told them so that she could get confirmation that it was OK to lie.

Why do people always do this?
How come they can't just get over it and do what's right?
Instead of doing it God's way they lobby for support of their way.

I am supposed to be the odd one.
No I am not the odd one.
So she had supporters who decided to step up and be a part of her lie and deception.
That's them and when the doo doo hits the fan they will be caught up in it too.

You may think it's alright to be deceptive because it's what you have always done and the people who you respect do it but that is no excuse.
Lies and gossip will come back and jack you up.

This woman actually told her co-workers that there is a special place in heaven for people like them.
A special place in heaven for liars?

Revelation 21:8 describes this place:
8 ...But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The Word said all liars
A lake of fire and burning brimstone is not a description of heaven.

Now I know this woman in passing and she knows me and she may have believed that her comment was some sort of snub, dig or insult that was supposed to make me feel awkward for not lying because everyone else agreed to.
Maybe she said it to psyche her self up and keep being deceived enough to continue lying, but the Word of God is settled in heaven and if Jesus is your Lord the Word is what settles it in your heart.

This is how we know who is who.

Any man or woman In Christ is not going to conform to a system that leads to death and that's just it.
I was walking away and when she said what she said my whole frame slammed to a screeching halt.
My heart was filled with sympathy.
Now I know why Jesus wept.

I had to go back and ask her if we could talk for a while because I needed to know what she meant.
I can be intimidating because of my size so I had to be aware of myself.
Plus her coworkers where like Uh Oh she coming back it's on now.
I don't want to confront anyone i want to talk, so don't be all tight lipped and twisted thinking that you have to speak indirectly to me or we are going to argue, I know how to talk.

I mean what I say, yes I do and I am adamant about it.
But we can talk.
So the instigators pump it up but I take it right on down because her salvation is on the line.
I said, No it's not on in the since that you all think.
We sat down to talk in a room off to the side.
She told me God is love and if God is love He won't keep her out of heaven for a little lie.
So her understanding of love is that it's expressed in lying.

(ABBA help me!)

I asked her, in a calm voice "Which God are you talking about?"
Are you talking about the God of the Bible? We have to get that clear first.
She answered, Yes, Jesus ate with the sinners.( she knew about that)
I said, Yes He ate with them, He didn't sin with them.

Now it was open because she pulled Jesus into the mix we can talk about Jesus!

If you know Jesus you need to know what He said in John 8:42-44
Jesus said,.. if God where your Father you would love me...
God is love but don't get love twisted.

You love your children but you have set up boundaries to keep them from being killed.

Jesus asked, If you know my Father, How come you don't understand what I am saying?
Because men have closed their ears to what Jesus has said and opened them to all sorts of philosophy.

Jesus went on to say, You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and cannot stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.
When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and the father of it.

It's impossible for the devil to speak the truth because there is no truth in him at all.
The devil can recite facts but he is a liar, he can't stand in the office of the truth.

So is he what you want to imitate?

Jesus said that the devil was a murderer from the beginning, from the time he came on the scene he has done everything that he could to kill, steal, and destroy and his number one tool has been lies.
Lies kill, steal, destroy.

See it's not God taking loved ones early and causing disease, sickness, drama and chaos.
It's sin.
Lamentations 3:33 says that God doesn't afflict willingly or grieve the children of men.
He is a God of great compassion and mercy.
God is slow to wrath and long suffering.
Wrath is God's last resort but it's the enemies first resort.

Hearing about Jesus and knowing Jesus are two entirely different things.

Just meditate on the 3 verses that are shared in this blog today and reevaluate how you see Jesus and love.
