YOU WERE WITHOUT CHRIST

There was a time when anyone who was not circumcised in the flesh didn't have a covenant with God.
At that time the world was without Christ in the flesh and had no hope.

But the scripture says:
But now In Christ Jesus you who once were {so} far away, through the blood of Christ have been brought near.

Sin separates men from God.
That is God's truth.
Sin is what put Adam and Eve on the outskirts of Eden.
God is holy and He will not tolerate sin in His kingdom.
Lucifer was cast out for rebellion against God which is sin.

But Jesus came so that we might choose to be brought back to God
Not Jews only, not folks in the Bible belt only, but every man.

God so loved the world, this is why He sent His only begotten Son, born of a virgin conceived by the Holy Spirit of God.
For He is our peace, because Jesus is the one who connects the Jew and the Gentile together as one, sharing the same covenant.

Jesus broke down the wall that separated us. UNDERSTAND THIS YOU RELIGIOUS!
Every culture and nation is invited to come through Christ.
In His flesh Jesus Christ abolished the enmity caused by the law by suffering and bearing our punishment in His body that was hung on a cross.

Then the Messiah preached the peace that He supplied between all men and God the Father.
So Christ doesn't belong to one particular group, He was sent to save the entire world.
He came through a particular line of men but He came to dwell in all men.
There is no boasting whether you be Israeli, American Indian, African or Pakistani if Jesus is your LORD.

A gift among all men redeemed by the blood and not circumcision of the flesh.

Side note:
I was just recently stopped by a guy who tried to tell me that the cross isn't even mentioned in scripture.
He watched a documentary that told him this and without opening up a Bible to confirm it himself, he just came spouting that off and he didn't even know what he was talking about because the cross is recorded in scripture.
It just so happens to be recorded in this very chapter Ephesians 2 that I am speaking from.

You need to know that many will come proclaiming to have the knowledge and character but many will be fooled and deceived.
Set your self to know God.
Don't just take whatever I say as bond, open up your Bibles or go and find a Bible and study it for your self.

So what I am saying is that we are not strangers or outsiders where God is concerned any more, we are not Jews but we have been given equal access to God through Christ and the Spirit of grace.

Listen,
because scripture teaches us that God only corrects those whom He loves.
Those who love Him receive His correction.
Before we made Christ our LORD we were dead in trespasses and sins; GUILTY with no access.
ACCESS WAS DENIED

We lived, thought, spoke, reacted according to the dictates and customs of the world system.
Lost.
A system that is completely immersed in the ways of sin as directed by the small case "g" god of this world.
When I say small case "g" I am referring to what scripture teaches us is Satan.
2Corinthians 4:3,4
3 ... if our gospel be hid, it is hid (not understood) to them that are lost.
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God should shine unto them.

So I'm talking to all who profess Jesus Christ as LORD and to those who don't know what they believe.
I began the week talking about a woman who had ideas about Jesus that didn't line up with who the scriptures say Jesus is.
She didn't understand that love doesn't mean allowing whatever.

She is a parent and I just didn't get why she didn't understand that if she allows her own children to just lie like it's normal because every body does it, that they will grow up being liars and the consequences didn't even register with her.

Like when a public figure does something that is clearly a disgrace we always say that they are only human.
What does that mean?
That we should just expect dumb decisions from all humans.
Is being human an excuse for making Jackass decisions?

What else could we be called, we are not reptiles.

Being human is not the problem, what type of human beings we are is the problem.
Are we humans who have made a decision to follow Christ is the question?

I could understand if when people do things that upset their family and scar their children, and cause loss, shame and disgrace if the critics and supporters said,
" Oh she's just a Jackass we should basically expect that behaviour from her because remember she's a Jackass.

Or maybe come up with a name for stupid humans "Stumans" or "Hupids" Like:

He's one of those Hupids he hasn't made the decision to be a faithful husband.

She's one of those Stumans she sleeps with married men.
Let's identify this crap with something other than merely being human, because a whole lot of humans don't do this stuff.

Yes, I'm praying for folks but I'm just being real, some stuff is just stupid.

Once In Christ we now have denounced, put off dishonesty, disgraceful ways, underhandedness, we refuse to deal in slickness or practice trickery, concocting deceitful schemes or handling business in a way that brings shame or reproach to our Father, but manifesting the truth.

Paraphrased 2 Corinthians 4:2

Praying that we all come into the knowledge and wisdom of God.
This is how we all will live a quiet and peaceable life.

Lord I thank you that no man has an excuse today who can read these words.
I thank you that all excuses have been put to rest because your invitation is open and you have offered access into your kingdom to all who will turn from this world system and follow You.

I pray for those who have no real knowledge of your Will to come to a clear concise place of knowing You.

I pray that men be not wise in their own eyes, that they revere, honour and respect You, and depart from evil.
Your Word says that length of days rests in the hands of Wisdom, so I pray that the wisdom of God be sought after with fervency today.

So Be It!

Christ is available to you right now.
You don't have to be without Him for one more second.
He will come into your heart if you ask Him in and He will change your status from DENIED to ACCEPTED.
He loves you and He loves you like no one ever could or will.
He gave His flesh to be torn for yours to be spared.
Jesus will give you access into this blessing that we know as Grace.

Put your trust in Jesus today don't lean on what you think you know I am a witness that if you acknowledge Jesus, if you look to Jesus you will find Him in His Words, He will direct and make plain and straight your path.

You may not know where your life is going at this minute, I don't either but I do know that Jesus will give direction.

Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is LORD supreme in Authority, the only way to God, the only way to be cleansed of all sin, the only one who died and was risen by God for me.

Call on His Name, Believe on His Authority, Revere His Word

You Shall BE Saved.
I love you.
Jesus Loves You.
And God the Father Loves You.

You were without Christ.
Not any more.
