GOOD INTENTIONS

Yes, a man may say, You have faith, and I have my good deeds: show me your faith without your good deeds, and I will show you my faith by my good deeds.

James 2:18

Saying God knows my heart is not an excuse for living how you want to live and expecting miracles from God.
It is true that God knows the heart of men, he knew that the heart of men was continuously evil in the days of Noah.
This is why He gives direction to the heart of men through His Word so that it can be protected by His way.

If you have a good heart your life and conversation will speak of the goodness that dwells within it.
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, you show your heart by your conversation.
It's not only God who knows your heart it's people who come in contact with you who know your heart as well.

We know what you are entangled with based on what you say.
Folks know what you believe and if you believe holy living is necessary by what your opinion is about things.

I will show you my faith by what I do is what the man of God is saying.
I'm not just going around saying my faith is strong, the man who trusts and obeys God his actions speak of his faith.

Good Intentions

Have you ever heard it said that the road to hell is paved with good intentions?

Have you ever heard, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also?" Well now you have. James 2:26

Let us say that you have a slow leak in your tire and are aware of it and your intention is to get it fixed but you never get around to it but you continue to ride on it.
Your intention meant that you understood the need for action and you may even have been determined to act on what you have been made aware of but you put it off.

What will happen is the tire will eventually go flat and may cause even more damage.

It's just like hearing the Word of Truth, you have heard what God said.
But you reject it with excuses.
That is rebellion.

What rebellion does is says that " I know what God said but I don't believe that I have to stick strictly to what He said"
Jesus said if you don't follow me you are none of mines.
The Word of God teaches that rebellion is like unto witchcraft.
And what it does is it seeks out another way to go about achieving peace and prosperity.

You know that in order to be saved that you must repent of all sin, turn from it, receive Jesus Christ as the sacrifice for your sin debt and make this confession with your mouth.
Romans 10:8-10

You can go to church, have a pastor, go down in the baptism pool, give offering and say that you know there is a God but if you do not make the confession which is followed by actively living for Christ walking not after the flesh but the spirit.
All you have is an intention.
This is faith without works.
It's dead.
This is what the road to hell is paved with.

The Bible says this in Titus 1:16:
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

The way that you live won't redeem you, the way that you live is proof of your redemption.
we know that it is according to His mercy that we are saved, don't misunderstand mercy.
The mercy is in that He sent His Son.
He made a way out but if we don't take the way, we deny the gift of mercy.

You grown and you can take this scripture and look up the meaning of these words and meditate on them.

Every intention that God had He followed it up with work, with action.
God created men and put them in the earth to imitate Him.
All things were made with a purpose and design by God and when He thought it, He spoke it, He saw that it was good and He was done.
He does it with the words of His mouth.
Nothing gets done by mere intention.

You see and you have tasted that God is good because He has kept you when you know you were wrong and done evil.
You want things from God I want to stress the end effect of action is accomplishment.
When you are willing God is able.

His Word says that those who are willing and obedient will eat the good of the land.

If you are ready today His arms are open today.
You have to come to Him and lay down your intention and do His will.

God is faithful and He is Just.
He is not a man.
Don't do anything to be seen of men but let all of your doing be done with the purpose to please God.

Without faith it's impossible to please God and the proving of that faith is living a holy life.

These words were sent to make you free.
It will accomplish.

Come on home stop wallowing in the worlds mud and receive the fatted calf, the crown, the ring, the robe.
