KEEP BELIEVING IN WHAT?

Bless the true and living God this morning and all that He encompasses.

Lord,
open hearts and minds, Holy Spirit lead people to humbly receive God's Word for what it is.
It is the power that leads to salvation.
It is by this Word that burdens can be lifted and yokes destroyed and people will be saved in the days to come.

I want to say again that faith is not blind and when you choose Jesus for real you should know exactly why you chose Him.

Faith comes by hearing and by understanding the Word of God.
Faith is not something that we can just whip up and work up on our own.

Faith in God is not our own personal determination.
I think that some people have it twisted and they have confused self esteem with having faith in God.
The Father is where our self esteem comes from, when you learn who you are In Christ you begin to esteem Him and because He lives in you, you can esteem your self.

But don't think more highly of our selves than we ought to.
Because this puts us in the position of pride and then we can no longer hear from God.

It takes hearing and receiving God's Word as truth to develop His faith.

We don't have to beg God or wear God down, all we have to do is believe God.
He changes not.
He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
So we won't break Him down by continuing to beg Him for something.

The way that we receive from God is by Faith.
Faith is obtained not simply through every time we get knocked down we get back up.
Faith is knowing that whatever the enemy meant for evil if we trust and obey God He will take what the enemy meant for evil and give us the power to work it for good.

Don't get this twisted by saying that God don't make no mistakes, when it comes to tragedy or losing a loved one.
God didn't decide it was time for your loved one to go.
God desires that we live a long and strong heathy life our choices and doors opened to the enemy is how life slips away.
God does not cause death because He needs another angel in His choir.
What kind of God would that be?
The Father gladly receives the saved souls into His kingdom because they belong to Him.

John 10:10 told us that the enemy comes to kill, steal and to destroy, but that Jesus came that we might choose life and choose to live it more abundantly.
Choosing to live an abundant life means living it God's way not by our own philosophy or by celebrity standard.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the Life.
Jesus is not the lost and confused, the lie and the death.

The (might) means that God gives the choice and we choose.

I am not talking about being perfect, never messing up or being intolerant, I'm saying that God has established this is it.
We have to do God things to get God results.

Faith stops the fiery darts of the enemy because Faith does what God says.
Faith obeys God because it trusts God.
Faith obeys God because it has heard the gospel preached and now Faith knows God's character.

Faith is not confused believing that God is jealous of them, it understands that God is jealous for them, which means He is protective of us.
The world will have you so twisted, it will have you thinking that you have more power than God.
Why would God be jealous of man?

He created this and all of this belongs to Him but he gave us charge to run and develop it.
Whatever money you have it ain't going with you when you leave this earth which ever way you go.
The clout that you have here will be laid down.

Now Jesus is not some good luck charm that we put on our desires in order to receive them.
The Lord said, This is the work of God, that you believe on the Him who He has sent.

What we do is we build a God that we want like build a bear workshop.

We put our famous connections at the top, we put our ability to build an audience on each side, we put our education in the middle, our physical appearance in the front, our money in the back and we have built us a tower that we think can't crumble.

The Word of God is a strong tower the righteous run into and they are saved.

Listen to me.
Psalm 37:7 says
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him: fret not they self because of him who prospereth in his way, because the of the man that bringeth wicked devices to pass.

This shows that men can prosper in the earth with absolutely no faith in God to bring it to pass.
You know this and you see it in the corporate world and the entertainment industry every day.

But we who profess Jesus Is Lord are told to wrap our selves up in the ways of God and waiting means diligently preparing by doing God's will.
God will bring it to pass.
We don't have to wrap our selves up in a teaching that says borrow to make money.

Everybody is looking for an audience and I have learned that people realize the power that Christians have.
Politicians saw it first, that's when they started to say what they thought we wanted to hear because demographics told them that we have power.

Other Christians know this too and they have need to repent for the schemes and scams that they have been running as well.

Playwrights understand this to, they understand that the Kingdom has funds and if they can market and target their subject to us they can have us too.

The Holy Ghost ain't no joke.
We have to be lead by the Spirit and Word of God and not the bling or the culture.
John 3:16 teaches us that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...
Jesus the first begotten among many brethren.

The brethren, the children of God are those who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and have been made sons.
Many think that they are praying to God but God has made it plain that we cannot approach Him except it be through Jesus Christ who is His Son.
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by Me.

You can gain the whole worlds admiration.
You can adopt a child from every country and continent, you can build houses, cities, feed the hungry, give all that you have but except a man come to Jesus, he will not see God.

I know that this is a hard pill for a whole lot of folks to swallow because we ain't used to truth we are used to scripting our own truth.

This is not to make you feel guilty, this is to show you that you can turn to God for real and get right with His program.
You may snub the things that I am saying and you may look for a preacher to tell you something different.

I used to care when people snubbed me and tried to build an alliance against me but I am not pressed anymore honey.
Because if you don't like what I say that lines up with the Word of God. It simply means that you have no regard for what God has to say.

If you have no respect or regard for God and His Word I will not be sweating your affiliation to begin with.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 teaches those In Christ:
...for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you.
And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Every one who is professing Jesus and putting Him on the end of their prayers and believes that it is by His blood and His stripes that we are saved we have to honor Him.

Jesus has exclusive rights to us.
Jesus redeemed us on that cross at Calvary.
Jesus Christ paid our sin debt and we are eternally indebted to Him.

The Bible teaches us in 1Corinthians 6:20 that we have been bought with a price, The precious priceless blood of Jesus, therefore glorify God in your body.

What does that mean?
That means that if you believe that Jesus is Lord and that He purchased you back from death , hell and the grave you won't be a man receiving another man into your body which is the temple of the holy ghost.

That means that if you are a woman you will not be defiling your body with another woman doing things that God deemed unfit for two women to do.

That means that we will not dishonor God by having sex outside of marriage.

This means that we don't kill innocent babies as birth control by being irresponsible with our bodies.
less than 1% of aborted babies were children conceived by rape.
And God has a plan and He knew them in the womb too.
He can take that baby and make it great.

That means that we will not be drunk with wine or anything else and pervert the law of God and make decisions that are opposed to God.

That means that we will not lie because lies honor the enemy and not God.

Is any one getting this?
Because society with it's twisted motto's and philosophies will tell you to keep believing but God wants us to know what to keep believing in.

Thomas didn't believe that the risen Jesus had risen and Thomas refused to believe until he saw Jesus.
He believed after he was able to reach in and touch the wounds in the Lords side.
The Lord told Thomas, ..."because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

It's still not a blind faith, because those who had not seen Jesus, heard about Him.
Faith comes by hearing this is why Jesus said go into all the world and preach the gospel.
Because when they hear about me, come on...
God is not asking us to leap blindly, he is giving us a path, a map, a way, a guide.

Either we believe God or we don't.

Father I thank you for your Word and it's truth that has the ability to bring all men to righteousness.
Don't ever just take my word for anything because I ain't gonna take your word, get in the Bible and study these scriptures and see for your self.

I encourage you from the bottom of my heart and the deepest part of my soul to get to know God and His character and His Word.
This is not Judgment it is preparing for the day when we will stand before Him.
