WHO WILL IT BEGIN WITH?

It can begin with me.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Psalm 119:66

I have a couple of statements to make, tell me which ones you agree with.

I believe that I can leave the church that I belong to even though it's the place that God told me to go and still succeed.

I don't think that I really have to go to church unless something really good happens to me, then I can find any church, one close to my house and drop in and give God a high five.

God loves me unconditionally and He will wait for me.

People are praying for me, my family is saved so we alright.

God understands that I am a good person and that I will give whatever I have to help those around me.

Instead of spending time in a church I could take that higher paying job that I was offered and work every Sunday and do more, I can work seven days a week.

I can climb the corporate ladder because greater is He in me than He who is in the world, I need a degree to succeed and because God loves me He will help me get that degree.

A major television network who is against what I believe and says Christ is not Lord has offered me a position writing for them just so that they can attack what I believe for ratings, but it will pay enough for me to retire in 2 years.

I study the Bible and I been taught well, I can come back to church when I get a chance.

Many people in the Bible didn't do exactly what God told them to do when and how He told them to do it, they struggled for a while but God always worked it out for them.
He'll work it out for me too.

His mercy endures forever surely it will endure until I reach my goals.

Jonah didn't want to go to Nineveh but he wound up there.
Abraham didn't follow God to the tee but he was blessed.
At least Moses got to lead the folks out of bondage that must have reaped a good reward.

Some of those things are Biblical and they are historical facts but don't take it and twist it to make your case.
Everything that I wrote up there is baloney but this is the way that people think.
Everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial.

We are the light of the world set apart to lead and guide folks away from the twisted thinking.
I'm not saying be mean but be for real.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Father,
I thank You this day that You have given us everything that pertains to life and Godliness through the knowledge of Your Word. I thank You Father for Your great and precious promises. And that as we walk in Faith and after Your Spirit we will escape the corruption that is in this world.
I thank You Lord that it is You who give us the power to get wealth, health and life abundantly.
I will put the cookie down and put the shoes back.
