HE LIVES!

THANK YOU FATHER FOR YOUR WORD AND THANK YOU FOR LEAVING THE NINETY AND NINE AND COMING FOR ME BECAUSE YOU DEEM ME AS PRECIOUS!

Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared.

But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.

Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

And it happened as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold two men stood by them in shining garments.

Then as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them. "Why do you seek the living among the dead?"

" He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee,
"saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.'"

And they remembered His words.

Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to the rest.

it was Mary Magdelene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.

And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them.

Have you ever seen something clearly and you know without a doubt what you saw and tried to tell somebody and they didn't believe you?

I'm not talking about intuition or suspicion.
I'm talking, you physically witnessed something and then informed the proper person and they just could not believe that what you are saying could be true.

Of course you have.

They knew how that they had never in their life stood and witnessed something go down one way and then turn out another way.

Or had they?
They walked with Jesus on the earth and saw how with 2 fish and five loaves of bread He fed 5,000.

We saw Him die and we saw Him be put in this tomb.
We know what we saw so it would be impossible for Him to be any place else but where we put Him.
The Romans had crucified men countless times and they knew what they were doing, they were the aficionados of crucifixion.

They heard about Jesus and even a couple of their own soldiers had miracles performed in their own life right at the word and hand of Jesus.

The Bible records the initial disbelief of His own apostles.
Wow!

That's how we are.

But Peter got up and ran to the tomb and saw that it was empty and the grave clothes were folded by them selves, no body in them.
The word says that Peter walked away astonished at what he saw.

But Jesus didn't appear first to Peter.
Jesus walked along the road with two other men who were discussing the events and began to feel hopeless.

They thought well now we won't be redeemed because the one who we thought was our redeemer is dead.
Today is the third day and the clouds haven't parted and the sky hasn't opened up and the earth hasn't shook and certain women are even saying that His tomb is empty.

They thought well if our Lord hasn't gotten up as we envisioned it, it must not be going to happen.

All hope is dashed.
The way we envision a thing is exactly how we miss it when it comes.
That's how the Sanhedrin missed His coming in the beginning relying own their vision and not God's description.

Well all hope is definitely not dashed.
Because our redeemer lives.
He walked and talked and ate and spent time with these men and revealed who He was before He went on to spend 40 days with His Apostles.

God will open your understanding I am a witness to this truth.

Whatever is going on with you I want you to know that all hope is not dashed.
You may be seeing things the traditional way, the way that they have always been done but God may have a non traditional way for you.

It will be a holy way and it will be a righteous way but God knows the plans that He has for you.

It doesn't matter what way the enemy tries to kill your assignment, your dreams, your connections,
I want you to know that if Jesus Christ is your Lord.

He Lives!
He Reigns!
He is not dead and if He is not dead neither is your dream, your assignment or your connection.

Spend today reflecting on what Jesus did and how it is working in you right now right where you are.
Still Doing What He Told Me To Do
Love Y'all
