TO GOD'S ELECT

Hallelujah!

I just love the LORD!
Last week I talked about shame and how the enemy uses it to try and shut you up.

Yesterday I talked about the brokenhearted or unhappy soul.

I'm looking at these things and seeing how they are stumbling blocks and setbacks.



The Father wants us free from anything that keeps us from testifying of His goodness and He wants us happy.
I listened to a man on the radio preaching that coming to God is not just about Him making all of your dreams come true.
It's true that we don't want to look at God as some genie in a bottle.

The Bible clearly says that God is our strong tower, our provider, our hedge of protection.
God did promise to give us life and more abundantly.
God does promise to give us the oil of joy for our mourning.

I want you to know that because we live in a free capitalist country, if you have the money you can buy the airtime.
So be careful what you listen to even if it is clothed with the name of faith on it.

There are a lot of people on radio who have not studied for them selves and they are preaching a rehearsed sermon from someone elses commentary.

God has promised us some things and we can receive those things by first knowing about them and then knowing that God is faithful.
Faith comes by hearing and understanding what God says and that what God has said can be true in our lives when we believe God.

I listened to a woman talking about the opportunities for the poor and the black and she just co mingled poor with black like they are one.

LISTEN

God brought me out of poverty and my skin may be brown but God is my Father and I am not going to put my self in a category that God doesn't even put me in.
God heals, so if you are sick in your body you can be healed.

Faith is not desperation or a wish that we have.
Faith is knowing that whatever God said He would do, He will do.
The Father sent Jesus because He loves us!
Lord how can you preach on the radio and tell folks that God didn't do what He did to give you a picture perfect life.

He did do what He did to give you life as He has it!

The Father did send Jesus so that you could overcome the trials, He is not sending the trial He sent the trial ovecomer.

And if He did it for Moses, He will do it for you.
Because God did it for Joseph, He will do it for you.

Because God did it for Abraham, He will do it for you.
Because God did it for David, He will do it for you.

Because God did it for Elisha He will do it for you.
Because God did it for Esther, He will do it for you.

Because God lifted Jesus up, He will do it for you.

But this is something that you have to know and believe.

Don't listen to people trying to pet you out of your blessing.

You don't have it because you say it with indignation, you have it because it has been revealed and you believe it.

The Lord is always uncovering ways for us to overcome setbacks and break up stumbling blocks.

Sometimes we can know the lyrics to the songs about joy and still not be walking that joy out in our own lives.

It is a manifestation of God's Spirit in us and it is ever available to replace any feelings contrary to God's Spirit.
And please put this Word in you so that your spirit will repel anything that is the opposite of what God has promised.

The Father wants us to walk that joy out so that those around us can take part, can take hold and come to Him because the world system definitely can't heal you of stress and depression.
He sent the Word to save that very system from destruction.

Something that is dying can't help you to live.

I just want to pick up along the lines of how God selected us and love on people some more where these things are concerned.



I was meditating in 1Peter chapter 2 in the NIV Version of the Bible.

The Apostle Peter wrote this to all of God's chosen and to those who were estranged and scattered in the world.



He addressed them as being chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father.

Ephesians 1:3-5

3 Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.



( Who has blessed us) (With every spiritual blessing)

We need to know that God has already blessed us In Christ.



4 For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.



God chose you before He ever set the foundation of this planet on it's axis.

Think about that for a minute.

Think about this when you are feeling left out or when you feel like you need to belong to a clique.

Think about this when envy, exclusivity, shame or loneliness tries to rise up in you.

Think about how you are already a part of something much greater than your self already.

Oh my goodness that makes me shout right there.
They won't let you play in their reindeer games, so what!
You have been adopted into the family of God child!



5 In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and Will.



Peter quoted scripture reciting:

"See, I lay a stone in Zion,

a chosen and precious cornerstone,

and the one who trusts in Him

will never be put to shame."


The one who trusts in Jesus will shut the mouths of people who say, "You will never do this and you will never do that."
God knew you before He planted you in your mothers womb and He drew you to Him.
God knows the plans that He has for you when no man on earth knows.

You couldn't come unless He drew you and when you came to Him you no longer represent all that you have done.

You now represent all that Jesus Christ has done and God sees you through Jesus Christ who is missing nothing and is not broken.



You might not have all of the things that you see other folks with but you have been blessed with every spiritual blessing In Christ and it is this blessing that brings about all that you need.
It is the blessing of God that gives us the power to get wealth, health and fare well.

Christians, you look those scriptures up.

Marinate in that today.
