BETWEEN YOU AND HIM

BETWEEN US AND GOD

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril or sword?
Notice this question asked who not what.

Is tribulation a who?
Is persecution a who?
Is famine a who?
Is war a who?
All of those things were referred to as who.
Because they come from a who.
Who comes to kill, steal and to destroy?
John 10:10

But there is a Who that loved us so, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life?

What will God allow to come between you and His blessing you?
What will separate us from the love of Christ?

Things may have happened and you may have made some mistakes, some wrong choices and some raggedy decisions, but "In Christ" you are still righteous.

Things do happen in our lives that we didn't attract because we have an enemy.
We have an enemy who his goal is to separate us from God, don't help him.
Resist him.

It's believed that Job drew his tragedies through a fear based prayer to God.
But you know how the enemy came to consider Job.
I believe that Job demonstrated faith in taking his concerns about his children to God.

Job's method may not have been the faith based prayers that we now recite but he did acknowledge God as his help.
Don't let anyone exploit or discount your concerns.
This is how people are abused because they trust other venues above God.

But if we take our concerns to God, we are using our faith and He will direct our path and His rod and staff will be with us.

Many folks don't even consider going to God with concerns about their children or any other issue.
They just hope for the best and keep God out of it.
But all hope rests in God's ability, not wishful thinking.

When we keep The Heavenly Father out of anything we open a door that we are not strong enough to close.
As soon as we take it to God, He can slam the door and no one can open it.
God cares for us and He has proven it.

The devil tried to use sin to separate all men from God permanently.
But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8

Does it mean that God no longer loves us if we have trouble, sickness, stress, are persecuted, hungry, in need, or threatened?
No
Regardless of all these things, complete and total victory is ours In Christ Jesus, who loves us.
The Apostle Paul was convinced of this truth and he shared his conviction with the Roman saints saying,
Romans 8:37-39 [AMPLIFIED VERSION]
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.

38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,

39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is In Christ Jesus our LORD.
If none of these things can separate us from the love of God what is it that you think can come between you and Him?

Since the wages of sin is death and yet God made a way for you and I to be brought back from sin, what is it that you think God won't do for you or me?
Is someone trying to manipulate you and make you feel guilt?
Don't you know that God made provision for your guilt on the cross.

You can't atone for something that Jesus did already, you can renounce it, repent of it which is turn completely from it, ask God for forgiveness and receive His forgiveness.
1John 1:9
Do you think that someone else and what they have against you will stop God from blessing you?
Nope.
The only thing that stands between us and God blessing us, is us.

I know folks thought that I was getting soft because a lot of the time when encouragement is given it's either given without the focus of the hearers responsibility or it's given too harsh and it looks like we are saying blessings are through works.

I talked to a young man yesterday who is convinced that he is bipolar and I as I talked to him I already knew what his argument would be about this bipolar thing because he is a nurse.

I told Him that God made him and that as a man thinks so he is.
I want to talk to anyone else out there who has this diagnosis.
I work in Neurology and I know that they have done studies and MRI shows the difference between a brain that is so called Bipolar and their behavior patterns versus a unipolar brain and their behavior.

All men were made in the image and likeness of God and God is not double minded.
The Word of God says that a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways. James 1:8
Before James says this he teaches man that if we lack wisdom in any area let us ask of God who gives wisdom to all men liberally and will not withhold it.

He instructs us to ask believing that God has the answer because if we come thinking that we already know we won't have God's answer.

This young man held an intelligent conversation about politics and every subject under the the sun for a good 40 minutes.

I am going to tell you what most of these psychological diagnosis have become.
They have become and excuse to make poor choices.
They have become the excuse that is given when we won't check our selves and just decide to fly off of the handle with other folks.

If you get a diagnosis then you are no longer responsible for you behavior, we are just supposed to understand that it's your brain.

Bull.
When you can stand and have a conversation and you have been placed in the position that requires you make responsible choices.

You shouldn't be allowed to drive a car if you are bipolar then.

If I as an African American woman decided to just flip out and start cussing folks out up in the ICU and throwing tantrums, can I say that it is a result of the unfair treatment of black women since slavery and I am not responsible for my own behaviour?

Can I walk into a grocery store and slap the cashier and take the money from the register and everyone should just understand because after all my gender and my race has been oppressed because studies have shown that there is a post slavery depression that has developed...

Should I be able to do drive by shootings or rob old ladies in the suburbs?

Because of the economy is alright for me to knock the paperboy down and steal his papers?
Is it alright for me to collect disability when nothing is wrong with me?

Is it okay for me being able bodied to live on welfare because I feel like the government owes me?

Can I not follow the law of the land because I am brown and racial profiling is a fact?
My bipolar people would say, no, my skin color is no excuse.

Well babies that diagnosis is no excuse either.

You know what this is one reason why people don't want to hear the gospel and they are pressing to push it down and fluff it up and make it sweet and all of that.

Because it would make them have to acknowledge that God made them in His image and His likeness and made us free moral agents.
Meaning that we were not born nutty or perverse or without the ability to make right choices or decisions.

I love you, that's why I'm doing what God told me to do.

It's what we believe that we will do.
It's what we believe God will do.
It's what we believe God would have us to do.

Those things aren't found in a lab or in DNA or in our culture but they are found in holy scripture.
I have listened to people spouting what they heard some other preacher say and they don't know what they are talking about. It sounds good but it ain't all bible.

The only thing that separates man from God is a choice that man makes.

This is encouragement too!
I can't leave it undone, God has something for each and everyone of us.
He has good days ahead for us, but if whoever refuses to receive this truth, they will not walk in those days.

All principalities and powers and angels and demons, death life, supernatural and natural couldn't keep God from us.

The simple lack of belief is what shuts the blessing down, it shuts the peace down, it shuts the joy down.

You ain't bipolar, but you can be if you want to be.
You can say that you have cancer if you want that too.
You can have liver disease and whole bunch of mess.
Proverbs 23:7

You can be unstable and double minded if you want to, but that isn't how God made you.
Romans 12:2

Genesis 1:26,27 records and describes how God made us.

You can be changed, healed, set free of depression, fear, anger, whatever it is by receiving Christ as Lord and Saviour and renewing your mind by the Word of God.
2 Corinthians 5:17
...Therefore if any man be In Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The Spirit of God will come and live on the inside of you teaching you who you are in God and In Christ through the scripture.

If we are walking around talking about Jesus is our Lord and we are carrying scriptures, this is how we walk.
Ephesians 4:20-32 This is us, we don't give place to the devil.

We have to do is draw near to God in Faith.
Faith has a response.
What can come between us and Him.

It's us knowing better and refusing to do better.

Father I say that this seed sown will be watered and you will give the increase in the authority of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Your Son.
I believe and I thank You.
Amen.

Look these scriptures up and think on them.

Love Y'all
