Most of us growing up were taught if someone hits you, you better hit them back.


Can I get a truthful Amen?


Many of you have stories where you were hit and you hit back, don't act like you don't.


Because most parents taught us if we didn't hit back, when we got home they were going to whip our butt's.

For most folks they would much rather take the chances with the joker in the street than come home and have to deal with their own parent.

Then we were born again and God became more than just Creator, He became our Father and Jesus became our Lord and Master who said:


...And unto him that smiteth thee on the cheek offer also the other...


WHAT! :(
Yes, that's what He said and that's what He meant.

So I have to take off the old man that momma and nem raised and put on the new man that is risen with Christ.
That the Name of God and His teaching be not blasphemed.
1Timothy 6:1

That means meekness which isn't weakness.

I pray that if I have done anything to bring reproach against my God, His Word, The body of Christ or to embarrass my own pastor and church.
I apologize and ask for their forgiveness.

My pastor talked recently about being in a situation where His mentor and spiritual father was being falsely accused of things and yet he refused to entertain the accusations.

This man of God who was being accused at the time had many sons in the faith, my pastor being one of them who didn't understand why he refused to acknowledge the accusers.
To the point that the accused brother's own spiritual son's wanted to defend his honor on their own .

I have been in this situation my self, brought to the brink of debating about my church home, my own teachers and even the things that I say.

I have learned that there is a distinct difference between entertaining an accusation (spending time and thought life defending and or debating) versus instructing in wisdom, justice and equity)

Jesus did this Himself.
Jesus wants us to learn of Him.

The Fathers thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways are higher than our ways.
We have full access to the very thoughts of God if we just come up to where they are.
Operating by the law of faith will override the accusation.

Faith is the Blessing.

Luke chapter 6 lays out a powerful lesson from Jesus helping us to understand why we don't want to waste time entertaining an accusation.
Jesus lived a ministry life where accusation after accusation was railed at Him on the regular.

Someone was always testing or trying The Lord Jesus with stupid questions trying to intimidate or use trickery to bring a charge against Him.

We face this type of thing in everyday life whether we are vocal for Christ or not, but it will be a continued occurrence for those who have something to give that will help other people come to Christ and not be depressed and anxious.

If you have been called of God because He does the choosing, we don't, it's because He has a purpose for you.
And the trickery and accusation is to stop your purpose from coming to pass.

Jesus reminded us that we would be in good company and Blessed when men hate us, and when they separate us from their company, and reproach us, and cast out our name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Luke 6:22
Because it happened to Him.

Yet The Lord didn't argue, defend himself against the accusations or go toe to toe.
Instead He taught and He went about doing good.
He went on and did exactly what the accusations had come to stop Him from doing.


Luke 6:6-10

6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that He entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.

7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched Him, whether He would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against Him.

8 But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

9 Then said Jesus unto them (His accusers), I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath day to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

Don't y'all just love the Lord?
He told them, I got your question and your answer right here before you even form your lips to ask it.

10 And looking round about upon them all, He said unto the man,
Stretch forth thy hand.
And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other. (MY GOD!)

Now the LORD could have argued and debated with His accusers and went tit for tat but then the man probably would have walked away and not been healed in the midst of all that.

Acts 10:38 said that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.

Doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil not debating about minor issues, but sticking to the weightier matters.

What is an accusation?

It can be a charge of doing wrong.

It can be slander.

It can simply be someones wrong opinion discussed among other people.


What is the purpose of bringing an accusation?
To attack, to bring judgment against, to bring under, to contest, to separate, to extort, to defraud, to steal, to exact punishment.

Who is the accuser of the Brethren?
Who is he that comes to steal, to kill and to destroy?
Who is he that roams about seeking whom he can bring an accusation against?


The answer is in Revelation 10:12

Have you ever had someone start up a conversation or try and start a friendship or relationship with you misrepresenting themselves?
Sure you have if you have lived more than 15 years on this planet.
Gossips and trouble makers do this a lot to extort information that they can use against you.

Shape shifters.

I've had this happen many times and for some reason they think that I don't know.
The more you meditate the Word of God, the less the shifter can mask his shape.

Some sucker approaches me directly or indirectly talking about some subject or they present a "scenario" as bait wanting me to comment on the situation so that they can go back and build a case against me with someone else.

"See I told you she won't do this because this is what my friend said, I knew she was like that because so and so told what's her name's cousin who knew her from bingo that her momma on her daddy's side wouldn't even talk to her because she thinks blah, blah, blah, blah, blah...."
LORD what is wrong with folks?
That's fraud.
Don't come creeping up to me creeping things.

An intentional perversion or omission of information to try to get you to part with information or give a statement that can be used against you.
Misrepresenting them selves.
That's the devil.
That's Genesis 3

This is why we can't spend one nanosecond entertaining the garbage that is an accusation.

Look what happened in Luke 6:11 after the man was healed.

key words: healing took place

And they(those who sat in wait to bring a charge against Jesus) were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
That's strife, that's evil work right there.

These busters hated Jesus because He delivered a man from disease.
People don't want their friends going to church and tithing, they want them to sit with them and gossip, complain and buy drinks.

Folks don't want their girlfriends to realize that they are not cheap but valuable and that they are worth a respectable God fearing man because they don't have one.

Guys don't want you interested in God and the things of God and serving God if their days are spent giving their money to strippers " exotic dancers".

The enemy doesn't want you to know what God has done for you through Jesus Christ so that you can be stuck thinking that you have to die with some disease because you know people who were diagnosed with it and they died.

The enemy doesn't want you to open up a Bible and see that all folks that die do not go to heaven, whether they be old or not.

Why?

Because the accusation came to stop the healing and the truth from coming forth and breaking the yoke and lifting the burden.

The enemy is behind it but he has to work through somebody.
I can tell you one thing, the blessing is not operating in and through the same entity as the curse.

I need to examine myself and make sure that I am not bringing an accusation and that I do not give attention to any as well.

Wherever the Word is sown, persecution and affliction is coming to try and stop that fruit from coming in.

It's coming for the seed.
The sower sows the Word.

So now the man in Luke 6 is restored because Jesus didn't bat an eye at the accusation.
The Lord was anointed, filled with the Holy Ghost and power and went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil.

Did Jesus care that them jokers who were watching Him do what God told Him to do were angry and in conference?
Did He care that they didn't pat Him on the back?

No
It's so easy to get off course by putting our first concern on what people say about us.

After the healing was accomplished The LORD went on up by Himself into a mountain top and prayed all night to God The Father.

And when He came down the next morning He came with instruction for His ground breakers.

He came down and gave instruction to His 12 disciples, His followers/support staff/us.

Let's talk about what He told us to do tomorrow if the Lord tarries.
