EARS THAT HEAR

THANK YOU FATHER.

The Word of God is not a tool that we are to use to pluck portions out in order to get our own point across.
The Word of God is the character and will of God.
To be proclaimed and uttered so that the voice of God is heard.

The goal is to share the Fathers Will.


JESUS CHRIST IS THE VOICE OF GOD.

To obey means to listen and attentively hear God The Father, God The Son and Holy Spirit.

Obedience is not following a set of laws or breaking them.

Obedience is observing the requirements set by Christ.
Christ is the fulfilling of obedience.
When we believe on Him, we have obeyed.

We have heard what God has said.
John 3:18
He who has ears to hear will hear.

To obey is to hold in high regard what God has said.
What did Jesus say?

To hear means that somebody is talking and you consent to either agree with what is being said or disagree.
God continually said, Obey My Voice.

Obey meaning to hear My Voice.
The father wants us to lay hold to and not let slip what He is saying.
Not hold in a higher esteem the doctrines of men.

This is what happened in Genesis chapter 3.
Adam was not watching for Eve's soul and another opinion was introduced to her.
It wasn't that the opinion was different from Adam's.
The things that were being introduced to Eve were different from what God had said.

If Jesus says, believe on me and you will be saved, then all you have to do is believe on Him.

You may have heard many things about obedience, I want to share what the Lord opened up to me about it today.
Amen.

My own personal experience has been this.

I have been insulted by people who believe that what I do is based out of hearing some preacher preach, or setting a goal to be in some pulpit preaching.
When God has given me a measure of faith like He has given every man, and I take that measure and sit before God all of the day.

I'm not auditioning for anything.

Honey, I am not moving on what any man suggests and it is not based in fear.
I used to shrink and shut up so that other people would feel Big and comfortable around me I thought that was being humble.
The LORD showed me that humble is what He lifts and that if I humbled my self to write, He would build folks up with it.

I learned that shrinking and being humble are two entirely different things.
The LORD said that He would give me the ability to do it consistently if I took the time with Him to learn not to react, but to do.

My apprehension came when I witnessed the power behind trusting God against odds.
And then Faith came and rolled right over all apprehension.
It ain't no joke what God will do if you believe, I could see the place and it was intimidating.
But it isn't anymore.

I have begun to do what the Lord told me to do and until God tells me to move on anything else, suggestion after suggestion and opinion upon opinion can come, but unless God says it, it ain't happening.

And I am not influenced or stressed by any other opinion.

Until the LORD gives me peace in my soul about any assignment, it ain't my assignment, because it has been Him who made my mind, will and emotions to be stable in the midst of all accusation.

I understand His strength and His love for me.

God told Abraham to get up and go.
It wasn't his brothers, not his father, not his neighbors.
God's voice was the one that Abraham heard.

Reverse psychology, Forward Psychology, Saying put your money where your mouth is and all of that is still not hearing the voice of God.
I am putting my faith where my sin is, upon Jesus Christ up on that cross.
The work is to believe on Him.

When we have this steady, we can not think more highly of our selves than we ought to and we can hear.

We can go and do a whole lot and it not be God, even with good intent.

It can be something that we saw someone else do and get it in our head that we can improve upon it or do it better than them.

It may be true that you could do a better job or improve on it, but if the Lord didn't tell you to do it, you are running on your own idea and it will tank because God didn't tell you to do that.
If God didn't give the go, His grace is not on it.

But we get up and go at the suggestion of someone else and then when we end up naked, we want to blame folks.
That's what they did in the garden.
It was this woman that you gave me, it was the serpent, it wasn't me not listening to You LORD!

No, it was you moving on something that the Father didn't tell you to do.
Then we get angry and place blame and disappointment in people because they didn't back our plan.

Faith is hearing God.
It's not being antagonized into anything, God doesn't do that.

If it was God the plan will be backed and you won't have to bark at people.

Is it you looking at the tree and believing that it looks like it's good for food, and it's pleasant to the eyes, and a project that is to be desired because of what it will do for you?

There are real easy ways that I could follow if God wanted me to be to be standing in a pulpit.
I know what I would have to do, I know the formula.
But the LORD has not told me to do that.

Hearing the Spirit of The Lord is very important.
Disobedience is not just refusing to sit down or stand up when you are told.

Disobedience is not believing on the Name of Jesus Christ.
It's rejecting what Jesus has said.
It's because of this that He couldn't work in the lives of people.

This was the mistake of the Israelites in Moses day, God gave the law at His voice to Moses.
Moses took it to the people and they didn't want it.
That Bible says that in their hearts they wanted to go back to Egypt.
They physically followed Moses out of bondage but their hearts were far from God.

Today we have Jesus who has given us everything that pertains to life and Godliness but we want to go back to Egypt as well.
We'll give our body to be burned but we won't let our opinion drop and listen.

We want to go back to having to earn it all by our own merit and obedience.
You don't even know what obedience is.

You can't be obedient to every thing in Deuteronomy and if you can't, then don't try and collect on the blessing described there, because when you claim it, you had better be able to obey it all or else you place your self in the position for the curse.

The blessing is in Christ Jesus.

I'm not saying be disobedient and don't follow God, I'm saying stop staking what you have on your goodness and your deeds.

Serve, do good, walk in love, give.

But think soberly, keep a meek and moderate estimation of what you have done and highly exalt what Jesus Christ has done.

Consider these things.

Hebrews 3:12-19; Romans 12:3

Jesus told the women to run and go tell what they had saw.

I'm telling.
