SPOT AND WRINKLE

ALL GLORY AND ALL PRAISE TO GOD!

I HAVE QUESTIONS JUST THINK ON THEM TODAY AND BE BLESSED.

What is the glory in the Church that distinguishes the saints of God from all the other people on the earth?

Hugh Hefner and Tom Cruise are wealthy.

So what is it?

Us recognizing the love that Christ has for us, that He gave Himself for us.
That it is Christ Jesus Himself who sets us apart and cleanses us with the washing of water by the Word.

That He might present us to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that we should be holy and without blemish.

Like He is.

Spot= fault, free of base and gluttonous men.
Gluttonous men are not mere fat men, they are greedy men.
They come in every size.

Greed is not limited to a platter of hot wings and ribs.
Greed goes deeper than that.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 talks about the glutton in the last days.
How many will be lovers of them selves (their opinion) lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, conceited...having a form of godliness......

You can be greedy for promotion and anyone who is will do whatever they can to get there.
When God made it as simple as seeking Him.

The Father sets men up and places them where He wants them to be.
His people are in every area of life and society, but if we don't understand this we will step over folks and on top of them, lie, cheat and steal to get to where we want to go.

When I say that I am not ambitious for the things that most people are ambitious for most people don't understand what I mean.

I am going to be straight, direct and forthright with what I am saying,
I'm not in hot pursuit of leadership or promotion because I believe that you can lead from wherever you are by example.

What I have learned is if you really want to see the wrinkle in the body of Christ, all you have to do is have a different perception and the wrinkle and the spot will show up.
We don't understand that whenever we act nasty we are staggering at the promise.
Romans 4:20

If we don't take the faith of Abraham and believe on Jesus with it, that faith is of no effect.

You find out who is really in faith when you disagree with something that they have done or said.

The Bible teaches us that we are being conformed to the image of Christ and that this is how people will be able to distinguish us from the other people on the planet.
The fruits of His righteousness being made apparent in us.

So as you walk through a place where people who profess to be In Christ would smile and greet you in love all the way up until when you are not doing whatever it is that they believe you should be doing, they withdraw like a wrinkle.

There is an absence of the glory.
They have taken a turn.
They have chosen to take the route that is not glorifying God.

How long do you think their journey will take when they decide to take a route that they have mapped out versus taking the map that the Lord left us?
We are all trying to get to the place where God wants us to be and the key here is what God would have us to do.

How long will that journey take when we step out of love?

I'm talking about fruit.
I'm talking about setting an example that isn't lovely and promoting it among those who you are set to lead.

Entering into the presence of God is in how we respond to someone who is not doing exactly what we want them to do.

God is looking at where we are right now, He knows where the church is going but the church is blinded to it.

How do we minister to a complaint?

1. Don't be offended.
2. Recognize that there is a possibility that the complaint is valid.
3. Examine our part.
4. Humble our selves so that God's grace is readily in our use.

There are people who complain just to hear them selves speak, and people who complain because they believe that they are above other folks so they just shouldn't have to deal with anything that they don't want to deal with.

Then there are people who want to protect the best interest of a place by making them aware of something that may be detrimental to them in the long run.

Lord I know that folks think that this is exactly what they have been trying to get across to someone else, baby this is for you, who believe that you have never missed it, offended or messed up.

If any of us will get to where the Lord wants us to be and it's not a place where a few have wealth but it's a place where we are all walking in total abundance.
The abundant life is not grudge holding, because that ain't blessed and it won't prosper.

Anything that doesn't represent the Spirit of God in it's response, the Spirit of the Lord is not there and neither is freedom.

Don't be bound by the unfruitful response of the devil.

That power that is at work in the church is the Lord's SPIRIT.

When ever we step outside of Christ, there is no charisma on the planet that can help.
We have to get back to Christ.

2 Peter 3:14
Be diligent that you be found without fault and blameless.

Don't be the wrinkle or the spot.

Lord,
We thank You that You chose us to be holy and without blame in love and In Christ even before You formed this earth.

We thank You Lord Jesus that You have given us the wisdom in Your Word on how to be holy.
We thank You that You have made known unto us the mystery of Your Will.
We thank You Father that we have been quickened by Your Spirit and that we no longer walk as we did yesterday according to the course of this world.

We don't respond like the world does to disagreement.
We don't respond like the world does to trial.
We don't respond like the world does to stress.
We don't respond like the world does to temptation.

Our lifestyle is not of the flesh because You Father speak to the Spirit of man.
We are Your workmanship Father ordained that we walk in your precepts.
We let no corrupt communication proceed from our mouth, but only that which is good to the use of edifying and not tearing down but that it be words of Your Grace that minister to them that have ears to hear.

We will not grieve the Holy Spirit but we will let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour and evil speaking, be put away from us with all malice.
Being kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven us.

All Glory To God In Jesus Name

The Glorious church leads by this example.
There is no spot or blemish there.
