ASK NOT AMISS

I will proclaim the decree of the LORD
He said to me, "You are my Son;
today I have become your Father(John 1:12)
Ask of me,
and I will make the nations your
inheritance, the ends of the earth
your possession.
Psalm 2:7,8 (NIV)

Jesus said,
If you abide in me, and my Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.
John 15:7

So we ask, and The Father gives.
We ask, and The Father reveals.
We ask, and the Father heals and supplies.

We ask God in Faith nothing wavering ( Matthew 21:22) in The Name of Jesus (John 16:24),
and The Father shares, opens, lifts, carries, calms, shields, forgives, saves, cleanses, multiplies, sustains, strengthens, removes, returns, renews, redeems, restores and makes new.

Some may say, "Well that doesn't work for me."

James said,
You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not.

You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts.

There may be things that you desire to have right now, goals that you hope to achieve, things that you wish to see and God so desires to give them to you.
It's very important that we check our hearts and our motives for everything that we do.

The heart is where seed dwells. (Proverbs 4:23, Luke 6:45)

The Bible teaches us that if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our hearts.

There may be some things in your heart today that are condemning you and condemnation hinders faith.
When we acknowledge those things are there, repent of them and give them to God our confidence towards God to bless us is now returned.

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.(Hebrews 11:6)
And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the Name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment (ability).

Without faith it's impossible to follow that commandment.
We have not because we ask apart from these principles.

We are not waiting on God to bless us, He's waiting on us to get an understanding.

Father,
We thank You for Your Generous Heart, Your Son, Your Word, Your Holy Spirit, and Your Patience.

Consider these scriptures today:
1John 3:11-23
1John 5:13-15

Love Y'all
