BY ONE MAN

...For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by One, Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:17

By one man's offence.

This is generally taught as the reason why we need a saviour and overlooked as instruction for living after salvation.

We want to keep a balance in the preaching and proclaiming of the gospel.
We don't want to pervert the definition of balance with double minded teaching in order to manipulate the scriptures.

The importance of seeking instruction and not inspiration alone is critical to our enduring, overcoming and living in peace.

Romans 5:17 teaches us of Adam's offence.

What was that one man's offence?

It is important to know because if you don't know you can be deceived and destroyed by interpretation.

Adam's offence was taking on someones opinion, interpretation, and instruction above the Father's.

Study this out and read it for your self.
Genesis 2:16,17 were the LORD God's instruction to man.

The enemy using the body of a serpent suggested something else in Genesis 3:1,4,5

Jesus came and died for those sins and every word that He speaks he speaks as the Father gave Him utterance. John 14:10

Jesus came so that we could hang all of the law and every prophets word on what He was saying.
Because what they said had no power to save us.

Meaning that we could lay to rest all that had been said prior to His coming and pick up where He begins to teach.

Born Again as a new creation In Christ we don't want to take on the same offence that Adam did in the garden.

The world will tell you many things and there are many false teachers who will tell you many things.

They will say that unnatural things are natural and they will enforce those unnatural things, don't go that way.

They will say that immoral is moral and they will be supported, don't go that way.

They will say that wrong is right and they will have those who agree with them, don't go that way.

You will have teachers of the bible who will not be operating in the very word that they speak across the airwaves and pulpits.

Don't stray away from what Jesus said, because He is not speaking of His own merit but of the things that the Father has given Him.

Meditate this one man's offence and understand that judgment and condemnation came upon him and us all for that offence.

He didn't believe what God had told him.

Jesus asks one thing of us and it is to believe on His Name.
John 1:12; 1John 3:23; 1John 5:13

To believe on the Name is not just you believe that Jesus saves.
You now believe in the absolute authority and truth of the Words that Jesus spoke.

We have talked about the goodness and grace and reward and restoration.

We are going to seek out what Jesus said to those who he healed and restored Monday.
You can take out your bible and search it out.
He didn't lay a heavy load of obligation or guilt on people, you will surprised to see just what He asked most people to do.

And because He didn't charge any of it to us we are able to run for Him in love.

Thank The Lord for who He is this day and be blessed.
Romans 6:1-6

Consider those scriptures.

Love Y'all
