THE NEED MEETER

HALLELUJAH!
PRAISE THE LORD JESUS AND OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN!

I'm writing to the broken hearted and discouraged as well as those who are sent to heal this morning.

Many of you may have been hurt by religion or disappointed by Christians and it is so unfortunate in this day and age that the very people who you look to for guidance often become the ones who disappoint you the most.

I am so sorry if that has been your experience.
Please don't allow whatever may have happened in the past or present to bruise your heart or sting your feelings to the point that you turn away from God and His Word.
It is not God's desire that those who represent Him disregard your feelings and believe that it is a justified thing to do.

God is a restoring God and even if you must part ways with people it's okay, love them and pray for them, it's not necessary to speak evil or return evil for evil.

What I used to do was downplay the significance of Christians hurting other Christians by saying, "Suck it up because you weren't paralyzed by how the world has kicked you around, so if the church chastises you, you should take it."

There is a huge difference between Christians being wrong and God chastising.
A big difference between correction, rebuke and just plain nasty, arrogant, fear based inconsideration.

It is wrong and it doesn't represent how our Father feels about you.
You come out of the world seeking shelter from God's people, and you should be able to find it within the Lord's body, that's what we are here for.

Some Christians believe that their poor behaviour should not be addressed that it should be swept under the rug and what happens in the church stays in the church.
Some believe that the poor behaviour should just be understood and not be discussed, yet they always have an answer to what you need to be doing.

It's unpleasant for people to hear the truth sometimes because it shows that they are not perfect and that they still have work to do them selves.
Well whenever you are given anything something is going to be required of you too.

We like the title but we don't want anything else but praise and power with that title.
We love honour and adoration, and we love to tell other folks what they need to be doing, but please don't tell us that we have a spot on our suit.

This is the truth.

We will throw a natural born fit if someone points out where we may be missing it.
Stay teachable, because it represents humility and God will double grace upon that attitude.

If God has called you to "win souls" or evangelize don't go at people telling them what they need to do, especially if you your self are not doing it.

This is what I was doing until the Lord showed me the error in it and said,
"Stop it, because I am a Gracious God and I have been gracious to you."

Yelling at the top of your lungs about what folks need to be doing.

Many write the book and then go on to continually fail to represent what they have written and preached by their own reaction to situations and then want others to follow them.

Follow Jesus.

Contrary to what we may believe we are not called to tell people what they need to do or have to do and then get angry if they don't.

You don't walk away grieved, let them do that.

When the rich young man came and asked Jesus what he needed to do to be saved, The Lord told him and the boy decided it wasn't for him.
Jesus didn't debate with him didn't try and manipulate him or block him from doing anything else.

The boy walked away grieved not Jesus.

Because people if they are drawn or led to even listen to us as representatives of Christ are going to come to us and lay all of their needs at our feet.
All we do is give information, we don't have to lasso, rope and tie them up binding them, if they don't want it, guess what?

Go on to the next town, wiping the dust from your feet In Jesus Name.

Initially the majority are not trying to hear what they need to do, they have a list of needs for you.
We run to God because we need God!
They are coming with needs.

And now we have the God given opportunity to lead them to The Need Meeter.
Prepare to meet needs.
Love and affection being paramount.

Not just handing out tasks and homework.

We could chess match folks up under the ground about whether there is a creator or not.
I could put people on the floor about what I know about God from the bible, but I'm not called to do that.
I am supposed to direct them to Jesus when they are lost.
Not argue with them about a God even existing.
Not get them to join a church but to first accept Christ as the meeter of their need.

Lee Strobel has already completed the Case For A Creator.

When the woman at Walmart is wondering how she is going to make it after her spouse has died, left or lost his job, I want to share with her that first of all God loves you.

If she doesn't believe in God, I can ask her a couple of questions and then if this woman isn't receiving it, I can either help her, hate her, or pray for her.

If she does believe that there is a God I can share His desire is that she look to Him because He already knows what she needs.

I don't want to ask her is she a tither and if she isn't then say , "Well you can forget it , God won't meet your need."
I don't want to tell her that she lacks faith.
I don't want to know the last time she went to church or what church she goes to.

I want her to know that God is here for her.
I want to give her what she needs so that she can develop the measure of faith that God has already placed on the inside of her.

I want her to know what The Bible says and show her that it has been proven in my own life, that God has promised to meet all her needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Showing her that God has met my needs and not because of the people I know or the deeds that I do, but because I have decided to follow Him and believe Him.

I don't want to point out to her what she has done wrong, I want to show her that Jesus Christ has done everything right so that she can be as He is in this earth.

To the person who their heart has been broken by life.
They know what they need to do but they can't always do it, that is what we are for.
To share with them that God has promised to create in them a new heart, a strong heart, a clean heart free from addiction, pain, hatred, sin, darkness, criticism, fear, lack when they look to HIM.

So many people don't understand that God gave His only begotten Son and that His body was broken so that our needs would be met.
We needed a Saviour and we needed a way to Righteousness, Peace and Joy in The Holy Spirit.
And to each one of us who have received Christ grace has been given.

God is still extending His grace.

God gives strength to the weary.
God gives more grace to the humble.

God gives us the victory.
God gives us everything that we need that pertains to life and godliness.

God gives us the Spirit of life.
God gives wisdom and understanding liberally to all who ask in faith.

God gives food, drink, shelter and clothing.
Because He is our heavenly Father and He Knows that we have need of these things.
So He instructs us not to worry and to develop fear based on need, but to seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

God's Righteousness is found in Christ Jesus alone.
You don't have to worry about tomorrow, focus on Jesus Christ today.

Consider these scriptures.

Matthew 6:7,8
Matthew 6:30-34
Philippians 4:6,7,19
John 3:16

Love Y'all
