CAREGIVERS

THANK YOU FATHER.

It is an awesome privilege to love with a genuine heart and a blessing to be loved genuinely in return.
Many desire to be on the loved end without possessing the ability to return the favor.
But if we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness we will be gathering the information that we need in order to live a life that is pleasing to God and it will bless us and others.

Working in the health care field I have been blessed to come in contact with many types of people at various stages in their life.
Some who are being cared for by loved ones or strangers, some who have now become the caregiver of loved ones and or strangers.

Alzheimer's disease being one of those diseases where the patient needs full time care and attendance.
Epilepsy patients who require a certain amount of continued care.
Stroke patients who go from being fully independent to needing assistance for things like putting on their shoes.

I have seen the blessing that comes with having a caregiver and it is paramount.
People knowing that they have someone who loves them and will take care for them no matter what.

There are so many things that we as healthy people can't do for our selves and many of you may right now be in that situation where you don't have what you think you need in the natural to make it, God is our caregiver.
He has promised to provide.

To be cared for is a core need in the heart of men.
You might be wondering how you are going to make it if you have to be on dialysis 3 times a week and work at the same time, The Father cares and He will give you what you need to make it.

If you have received Christ as LORD you are now equipped with The Holy Spirit of God and ready to face whatever you have to face triumphantly.

God the creator of heaven and earth holds an unconditional love for man.
It is through knowing The Father that we can then begin to understand the plan that He has for us. This is why I stress studying His Word.
Not so much to be able to convince others but so that you are first convinced in the midst of any challenge, trial or disagreement.

SO that you are able to speak and give an answer to your self as well as others as to why you believe what you believe.

Because you know your God and His thoughts and plans for your life.
His plan is that we be cared for.

The Father is the very foundation of meeting that love need, this is why God created a woman and gave her a womb, so that man could be surrounded with the love of a family.
A help meet.

The Father extends His love to us through one another, yet we cannot fully fulfill others needs separate from The Father.

God is the complete fulfilling of our every need.
The Father gave His only begotten Son so that He could express the love that He holds for us and fulfill our need.
None of us is more special than the next one because the Father is not a respecter of persons.

He didn't send Jesus for those who have the most faith He gave Jesus for all men.

God himself supplied a measure of faith for all men.
He didn't give the Jews more faith or the Pentecostals more faith or the Southern Baptists more faith or the Catholics more faith.

The Father gave to every man the same measure and men decide what they will do with that measure.

God desires that we have a sense and understanding of belonging to Him and worthiness through righteousness In Christ.
Our Father wants us to feel secure.

The enemy wants us to feel rejected and inadequate or blessed and successful based on our own accomplishments.

What I want you to go away with today is that you are cared for and blessed based in the love of God and the accomplishments of Christ Jesus on the cross.

Because you are are cared for and you are blessed, you can go and do what will bless others and demonstrate the care of God.

Pray for all caregivers this day.

If your heart sees fit do something nice for someone who is actually taking care of someone.
Give them a break and sit with their loved one for an afternoon.

Treat them to a manicure and lunch.

Pray with them and give them an encouraging CD or DVD to keep their spirits on high.

It is good when we delight our selves in these sort of things, when you do this you don't entertain thoughts of defeat or lack or accusation.
Consider this Word today:
1John 4:19

Pray for the caregivers, I will have the privilege of serving some of the most loving ones this weekend.

Love Y'all
