GOD'S WORD AND HIS SON JESUS CHRIST IS THE LIGHT THAT SHINES IN DARKNESS!
Thank You Father for Favour.
Don't glaze over these words believing that you have heard it all before and because you have committed them to memory, you now know it all.
A meek and teachable heart will multiply.
Meditate slowly and hear what the Spirit of The Lord is saying.
Jesus said, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him."
"He who does not love Me does not keep My Words; and the Word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me.
It's important to keep the words of Jesus.
We learned about the offence of the first man being that he failed to keep the Words of God.
Genesis 2:16,17; Genesis 3:1,4,5
If you look you can see how the world has pushed prayer out of the schools, how the government has pushed the counsel of God out of the public eye, how the culture is pushing morality out of the world.
But we won't talk about how we as Christians push Christ out of the forefront of our own assignment.
What the serpent did was push out what God said by twisting the meaning of what Adam had been told by God The Father.
Know what Jesus said so that you don't grieve your spiritual memory.
If the devil can get you to grieve the Holy Spirit and lay aside what Jesus said, now he has a foothold into your thinking and access to your life.
It is a mindset that the kingdom of darkness needs in order to influence an area.
Just like it is The Mind Of Christ that we need in order to influence an area.
This is what The Lord taught His disciples while He was in the earth.
The Lord knew that He would soon go to be at the Fathers right hand in order to make intercession for us.
He wanted us to know this and to be expecting, so The Lord said,
But The (Comforter/Helper), The Holy Spirit, whom The Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that (I have said to you.)
John 14:23-26
The Holy Spirit will bring to our remembrance all of what Who has said?
The Holy Spirit will bring to our remembrance all that Jesus has said.
Why do we have to know what Jesus has said?
Because it's easy to follow what sounds clever and step away from the way, the truth and the life that has been established In Christ.
It's done every day, but The Holy Ghost lives in us to do exactly what Jesus said that He would do.
Jesus said:
...But when The Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from The Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeded from The Father, He shall testify of me...
He shall testify of me.
Says The Lord.
Acts 1:38 The Lord Jesus teaches:
... you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The Lord told them that through the power of The Holy Ghost they would now be the example of His strength in these places.
Strengthened to do what?
To bring light.
To bring the light of truth about sin, righteousness and judgment.
John 16:7,8
To lay hands on the sick and they recover.
Wherever you are, you may be on a high beam building skyscrapers, you may be a state trooper patrolling our highways, you may be a surgeon cutting open the brains of stroke patients, you may be a fireman running into smoke and fire filled homes, you may be a chef, or even a cashier you can be a part of the Lord's body and bring light into the place where you are.
This is how God multiplies.
If He gives you one word and you are faithful to cherish and care for that word by seeking His understanding, He will give you more.
Because the Apostle Peter listened to and believed what God The Father told him about His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, The Lord Jesus was able to build His church upon Peter's understanding.
Matthew 16:13-18
It's what Peter knew about Jesus Christ that made him a rock to be built upon.
If God gives you charge over three people and you are faithful to love and encourage those three, God will give you three more.
But when we are not faithful to love, care for and be diligent in our assignment with those three that God has given us charge over, we will lose those three that we have.
The parable of the talents is a lesson that goes beyond money.
We have learned about being consistent and faithful and as the leaders go so goes the nation.
As the body of Christ goes, so goes the nations.
If I don't want my children cussing, I can't be cussing, I have to be the example of what I would like for them to exude.
I can't stand up in front of my children and call other people ugly or idiots, that doesn't represent the influence that I would like to have over my children.
People do this who believe that they are faithful and blessed.
It represents their heart but it doesn't glorify God or represent His light or Spirit.
Any who have made a real godly influence in the earth it is because an example was shared and demonstrated before them.
Jesus Christ was the need that God provided for men to be saved.
The Holy Spirit was the need provided by Jesus that helps those who go on to administer Christ to those who are in need of salvation.
A need is something that you have to have.
You don't have to be famous.
You don't have to be wealthy.
More than any of these things we need Christ.
In order to live with God, you have to be born again and make Jesus Christ your Lord.
Everyone will not be saved because all men will not believe on the authority of Jesus Christ to save.
Yet it is not God's desire that any one should perish.
Everyone will not be rich, The Lord said that we would have the poor with us always.
Yet the poor can be saved if they hear about Jesus.
My prayer is that we look to Jesus and study His example.
Not, What would Jesus do?
What did Jesus do?
Not, What would Jesus say?
What did Jesus say?
Consider
Matthew 12:31
Love Y'all
